Saw AristoCats on MTG Goldfish and thought I'd put my own spin on the idea. https://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/budget-magic-98-57-tix-standard-wb-aristocatsWhat I tried to do is have this mostly safe from rotation come "Ixalan" end September. If no replacement for Zulaport Cutthroat is printed, I guess I'll be replacing it with Anointer Priest. I'm also wondering if Trial of Solidarity has a spot in here. A board wide +2/+1 and Vigilance sound pretty strong in a deck like this. Problem is picking what it'd replace... *Note 23 May 2017:Played a few games on XMage after work today. So far I'm liking this build. Really hope there's a Zulaport Cutthroat replacement come rotation, it performed so well at closing out games that I would have otherwise lost.*Edit 29 May 2017:Failed miserably at FNM last week. Going to be trying the following changes next time I use the deck:-4 Sram's Expertise -1 Anointed Procession -1 Plains +3 Bone Picker +3 Weaponcraft Enthusiast
Arguably, the best cards in here are Anointed Procession and Hidden Stockpile. Anointed Procession gives extra cats when you Embalm the cat, extra Zombies when Doomed Dissenter dies or from Return, and extra Servos from Weaponcraft Enthusiast and Hidden Stockpile. And Hidden Stockpile just gives a steady stream of Servos while manipulating the top card of the library. Bontu, Yahenni, and Hidden Stockpile sacrifice creatures to trigger Zulaport Cutthroat, Hidden Stockpile, and Fatal Push. Fatal Push and Hidden Stockpile are also triggered by Evolving Wilds, giving it extra value later in the game. So, basically the deck wants to swarm with a lot of creature tokens while taking advantage of sacrifice effects. Because the deck can clog up the ground, the kill is used on flying creatures more often than not.
