The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

I originally wanted to see how good a cat tribal I could design, but after looking through Gatherer, I realised there's quite a bit of power in cat Aggro, especially if you build your lands to support some of the cats abilities. Being all cats, this is technically still tribal, I just don't have anything that cares about controlling other cats.
Like most Aggro decks, you play creatures and attack.I feel there are a few things to point out:> Fleecemane Lion is in mostly because it's a 2 mana 3/3. It's ability is secondary, but mustn't be forgotten. > Loam Lion is a one mana 2/3 most of the time.> Wild Nacatl is similarly a one mana 3/3, and the only reason for the inclusion of mountains. > Steppe Lynx is the reason for the inclusion of 8 fetch lands. In theory, it should be attacking as a 4/5 most of the time. > Longtusk Cub is the only creatures that generates and uses energy. 99.9% of the time you should be treating it like one of the Slith.> Prowling Serpopard is a 3 mana 4/3. It's ability is just the cherry on the cake.

Love seeing another Cat deck out there! I really do like the inclusion of Rancor here. If my current build doesn't work out I think I'll consider adding some. Have you thought of CoCo for your top end? I think it could be really beneficial here.

There's a simple rules for including Rancor. Green Aggro = 4x Rancor :P It's similar to how you decide on adding Path to Exile to white decks, if you haven't got a good reason to not include them, you put them in. To be honest, I've never played with CoCo, so I tend to design without it. Not that I think it's a bad card, and with 8 fetches, the number of lands revealed is significantly less, it's just that without experiencing it first hand, I can't seem to find a reason to include it.
I second this, CoCo could be a great "gotcha" on your opponents turn.
