So I think the record is 21 creatures on 1 turn. Pretty wild. Some cards (Kaysa) are just in there as fillers since my collection is not "millionaire funded". I find it useful to have the bolt and the Fball in there although I despise the idea of direct damage based decks. They take less skill than peeing in the woods. Suggestions welcome.. Happy casting. ~LPCG~

Basic premise is simple accumulate as much black mana as possible and drain life anything dangerous on the board and the opponent with no remorse. Feel free to sack swamps for mana early as they can be brought back with TT and there are numerous other ways to get mana i.e. sack from the board, discard, dark ritual. The bounty hunters have proved a less than perfect creature stopper in the past but I'm not convinced anything else is better at the moment. With instill energy they are much better. The instill serves a couple purposes but I'm not convinced a little more protection wouldn't serve my interests better. I just discovered the sanguine bond yesterday. This deck was dangerous before but now... save your counterspells boys 8 X spells that all get a 2x multiplier.

Big creatures are fun. But speed kills. The only quick creature is going to be sacked to get a land. If you want to life long enough to see the big fellas hit the board you will need to get mana more efficiently. Ramapnt growth can go for birds of paradise or even Q. elves (if your collection goes back that far). When a third of your deck costs 6 mana or more and it most likely take you 5 turns to get that mana available you are not going to life long. Unless of course you happen to find 2 of the 4 islands and one of your counterspells/voidslimes. even then, 1 or 2 counterspells might not be enough to keep you afloat for long. Find speed and balance big creatures with small.

Slick deck bro. I like that +1/+1 growth eliminats the need for high cost high power creatures. The counter magic is a great fit. I suppose it's inconvenient to have to save so much mana per turn to keep it available but i would htink the quickness would allow you to get a foothold on the board early enough to not be pressed to spend in turns 5-8. Reletively small creature size and draw capabilities must make you dangerous after a board clear also. Easy to re-up for 3-6 mana. I'd like to see more creativity in the land selection. Dual colour means Dual Lands are out there. ~LPCG~
