I tried taking it out. Guess it didn't work. Or maybe I forgot after making the revisions. Thanks for pointing it out.
So, I know that it hasnt happened yet, but this deck is about to get so much better. add Thespian Stage. Once the Legend Rule changes, you can play thespian stage, make it a copy of Dark Depths, elect to sac the original DD, and poof, no counters. turn 4 20/20 indestructible flier.
That's a good idea, but there's already a turn 2 in there. Have 1 dark depths, 1 vampire hexmage, 1 swamp and 1 dark ritual in your opening hand.Turn 1, play either Dark Depths or the swamp. Turn 2, play either Dark Depths or the Swamp (Whichever one you didn't play before). Same turn, use the swamp to play dark ritual, use the mana from that to play Vampire Hexmage, and then sacrifice it to remove all counters from Dark Depths.
well, that works too, but Dark Ritual isnt Modern Legal, so, I guess I was thinking it could become tournament viable
Oh, I don't play in tournaments. I really only play casually with friends. But if I wanted to, then that would probably be the best solution that I can see.
