Hm, it's true - I'ts possible that it's just not control-ish enough to get away with The Rack, I was hoping to find some synergy here though it might be weird build. Have been thinking about adding Tombstalker, though without Sensei's Divining Top it's really a huge gamble with Dark Confidant. As mentioned, I will ponder on this and possibly shape it more thowards Blade/Toolbox.

It is possible, though I consider Spirit en-Dal valuable for it's ability to render creatures unblockable without the opponent being able to counter it, primarily Hypnotic Specter for continued The Rack abuse should the opponent have creatures with flying or reach in play, but also for allowing Nantuko Shade to bypass opponents creatures to deal lethal damage to opponent or planeswalkers. Will have to ponder this though.
Actually, after double checking with the banlist - AEther Vial is not banned - I will most definitly add it to the deck at once.
Almost correct, The Rack was re-printed in Time Spiral: Timeshifted - making it legal in Modern :)
Right you are, have updated the deck with clone to replace phantasmal. Thanks.
How is this deck working out for you? It seems a bit random-ish with the various "near same" cards.
Yeah, I've been looking at Adaptive Automaton since it were released in M12, great potential. Will probably include it _if_ I can get my hands on em before the tournament; it'll be close.
Agreed, would probably be a great sidekick deck for turbofog, SaT/Emrakul or reanimator.
Looks like you have a 50/50 mixture of allies and "junk". In an ally deck, you'd really want to keep the non-ally spells to the bare minimum - I'd have no more than 8 non-ally spells. You probably should remove the Makindi Shieldmate (worthless), most spells and add Kabira Evangel, Mimic Vat, 2x more Ondu Clerics and Phyrexian Metamorph as a "wildcard".

Consider the oracle wording for the en-Kor ability: "0: The next 1 damage that would be dealt to Nomads en-Kor this turn is dealt to target creature you control instead." It does not have to take any damage first (or at all), you simply use this ability to target Daru Spiritualist or Task Force. Then until end of turn, all damage that would be dealt to the en-Kor will be redirected to the previously targetet creature.
The basics - you have Nomads en-Kor, Daru Spiritualist and Diamond Valley in play. You use the en-Kor ability to target the Daru Spiritualist, which get's +0/+2 until end of turn. If you repeat this process 10 times, the spiritualist would have a toughness of 32. If you sacrifice it for Diamond Valley, you hence gain 32 life. Since you can trigger the en-Kor ability as many times as you want, since it cost 0 mana, you can give your spiritualist 10.000.000.000.000 toughness just as easy as 32, giving you "infinite" life.
There is 24 lands in the deck. Since I use Mox Diamond you really can't go much lower on land count without the moxes becoming dead cards. I replaced 3x Leyline of Sanctity and put them in side instead.
That's perfect - any suggestions on which cards to replace?
Hi, if an opponent plays a spell that affects named cards such as "plains", snow-covered plains will remain unaffected; so basically is just a paranoid failsafe and has no other interaction with the deck.
An extremely late post, but - Pyroclasm does not clear the board of creatures with protection from red. Protection from red prevents damage from red as well as makes the permanent illegal target for red spells and abilities.
Not sure what format this deck is for, but it looks like you are missing the best combo. Play Artificial Evolution and alter the text on Turntimber Ranger to change from "wolf" to "ally". The next time an ally enters the battlefield, Turntimber Ranger will produce a 2/2 ally token, which will trigger Turntimber Ranger again and again and again. With this combo, you could have infinite tokens.
Thanks goes to both MrBarrelRoll and illaden, Sea Gate Loremaster proved to be an excellent late game bomb and Mimic Vat has works exceptionally with Halimar Excavator (steal discarded critters) or Jwari Shapeshifter (play as a 0/0, goes to graveyard on resolve - imprints on Mimic Vat = inf. wildcard) Still tweeking a bit on card balance, will update the deck within 1-2 days.
I did glimpse at Sea Gate Loremaster at times. I guess I haven't considered it as that much broken, since it's also very expensive. You'd either have to have very few of em in the deck, making their appearance rather random - or make use of some mana ramp - taking up more slots needed for cheap fuel for Ondu Cleric or Halimar Excavator. I will conduct some experiments with it and get back to you when I have some conclusions, thanks for the suggestion :)
Im not sure I follow you - every single card in this deck (part from lands) is either of Ally creature type, or result in a bounce (re-play an ally), or result in card draw (possability for more allys) - in most games part from turn 1-3 which can be highly random, I drop an ally nearly every single turn. Mimic Vat is not a bad option, I have considered it; not sure what I would trade it for though, or how many to play in main.
