I want to gain life, not give it to another player... No sense in exiling my own creatures
With all the different lifegain triggers, have you thought about adding a Cliffhaven Vampire or two? Or are you wanting it to stay kind-of mono-white? A couple of Isolated Chapels / Concealed Courtyards might be all you need for the splash of black.
