dude, this seems like a neat idea, but Im telling you straight up- its never going to work. why? not fast enough. it wont take long for people to see what your up to, then you'll have everyone break out their Lightning Bolt decks. How are you going to outrace them? 4x Daze 4x Force of Will 4x Counterspell these 12 should counter just about anything, and they play FAST. 4x Countersquall 4x Undermine 4x Punish Ignorance 4x Vindicate 4x Damnation 4x Cruel Ultimatum now the lands: 4x Scalding Tarn 4x Polluted Delta 4x Underground Sea 4x Badlands 4x City of Brass 4x Watery Grave yeah, I know I took out the man-lands. you dont want to be mana screwed by a Doom Blade. its a bad place to be. If the counter wall, the vindicates, and the damnation somehow dont get everything, there's little chance that the man-lands would have helped, since everybody has some way of getting rid of creatures in their deck.
This is a really cool deck idea- mind if I make some suggestions? What Vorthos wants to see: not just zombies- throw in some Death Eaters too! (I think Vamps would be GREAT for this- think 'Vampire Aristocrat' or 'Kalastria Highborn' -they kill you, AND they're snooty about it!) By the way, I went through Gatherer for a couple hours, and I've decided I know EXACTLY who you're looking for in the 'I Am Lord Voldemort' slot: Dralnu, Lich Lord. Hell yeah. 1. He's a Lich. 2. He's Legendary 3. His ability just FEELS like 'I know powerful Dark Magic, and guess what? It's pointed at your face'
looking at your deck and the Tomb of Horrors...I think this'll kill players faster.
:P well this sure seems fair. Moxen, Hypergenesis, shitload of Dragons? this looks like it was written by a Dungeon Master xD
nope- this guy's right. If a card's ability references itself in an ability, then say, Clone or Welder comes along and copies/steals/imprints that ability, then the ability gets rewritten by the rules to match the card using it, because what it REALLY says isnt 'untap Soliton' but 'untap (cardname)' --only it looks better on the cards to print the card's name instead of untap (cardname) or untap this card. and here's my source: an article using this exact engine posted on the official website: Myr Welder + Solition + Khalni Gem = Infinite Mana. http://wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/ftl/131
yay! a deck with both Mythic Rare Battle cry cards. normally I dont like 'hero' themed decks that go so fast, or use goblins, but against the Phyrexians? we need to make an exception.
lol, this is a dick deck. I like it :) RRROOOAAAR!!! Phyrexians!!!!! you should playtest it against my Mirrans to see who wins the war! :)
