but wait, when tokens go to the graveyard, they cease to exist, and therefore can't come back with the undying... :(
"Tokens can gain undying, and the ability will trigger if a token is put into a graveyard. However, like all tokens, it can't return to the battlefield and will cease to exist as a state-based action before the ability would go on the stack." -Unfortunately, Kazzong is dead on with this one. Just realized it myself, remembering the old persist days. The ability will trigger like always, but the token is never allowed to come back.
Bummer. Well, Mikaeus still gives them +1/+1.
