You're right, however I only play casually with friends and we don't use a banlist. The whole point of EDH is to play with fun cards that normally you could not in the other formats! :)

Removed Necrogenesis, added Garruk Relentless.
Further mana fixing: replaced 3 Swamps with: Evolving Wilds, Overgrown Tomb, and Gilt-Leaf Palace.
Removed: Swamp, Awakening Zone, Plaguemaw Beast, and Nested Ghoul. Added: Golgari Guildgate, Korozda Guildmage, Power Conduit and Corpsejack Menace
4x Cavern of Souls. When you drop it, name humans, knights, soldiers or angels depending on your opening hand or what you have in hand.
I received great help on my Ghave EDH deck via this site, so I'm hoping to make similar improvements to this Olivia Voldaren deck by soliciting everyone's suggestions and input. Some things I want to do: -Add some of the EDH mana staples like more BR dual lands, Command Tower, Sol Ring. -Add more creature recursion -Blade of the Bloodchief What are your suggestions?
Also, finally added Primeval Titan (replaced Jade Mage).
Replaced Increasing Ambition with Planar Portal, and Golgari Guildmage with Trading Post.
Eternal Witness replaces Noxious Revival and added a Sunpetal Grove replacing a Forest.
Add Mikaeus the Unhallowed... gives all your non-human creatures undying. They die, come back, Power Conduit removes the +1/+1 counter and puts it elsewhere (like say, an Everflowing Chalice) and that creature can die and return again with another +1/+1. It's brilliant! TOKEN-SMASHED FACE (a Ghave-based token EDH deck). Colors: W/B/G, Guilds: Golgari, Orzhov, Selesnya http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=355873 Key to the deck: the deck contains answers to almost any situation, and plenty of ways to go fetch (and recur) those answers. It is very utilitarian, however it is also very fun. It is very pleasing to launch acorns at Nested Ghoul... and then use Garruk Wildspeaker's ultimate to overrun your opponent with a horde of stampeding squirrels! =)
Nice build - Ghave is my favourite general. I have Algae Gharial in my Ghave deck too, and for the longest time it's been on my "maybe" list, as in it would be one of the next cards to go if something better came along. Recently it single-handedly won me the game. He kept growing bigger and bigger, and by the time he was a 15/15 my opponents stopped attacking me, instead killing off each other (and their creatures - further building up the Gharial!). A 6 player game was down to 4, when I cast Fungal Sprouting. Gharial was 30/30. I also had a Garruk Wildspeaker in play with enough counters for his ultimate. After I cast the Fungal Sprouting, the remaining 3 players scooped, haha. Anyway, check out my build for some more ideas: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=355873
Celestial Force out, Mycoloth in.
Land change: Rupture Spire out for Vault of the Archangel.
Was thinking about this deck today. I would play Serra Avenger over War Falcon. War Falcon is useless until turn 3-4 anyway, so Serra Avenger gives you a better body (and Vigilance) for only 1 more Plains.
I really like this deck! Replace Bump in the Night with Killing Wave.
Around the World.
Exalted is cumulative though. So a creature with Exalted gets another instance of Exalted when Sublime is out.
I liked a few decks in here - there's some great stuff like zzzzzzzzzzommmmbiees. Anyway, here's my Ghave EDH deck Token-Smashed Face: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=355873
Also, Pentavus gets the boot in favour of the nice Tooth & Nail my wife gave me.
