Deck Description

A rather standard R/U burn/control deck from the time I played MTG, based mostly on the Izzet mechanic, but with a nice fun addition of Stitch in Time sorcery. Read the bellow comment to see what am I pointing to. ^^

Deck discussion for Stitch in Izzet (Endless Turn ^^)

So the basic mechanic is to bring out either Djinn or better Cloven Casting, and replicate it as many times as you can (that's why cloven casting is better cuz it lets you copy multicolored spell (Stitch in Time) for 1 colorless mana). Use Krark's thumb to ensure you win each flip. Watch the opponet as you say to him that you play 7 turns (example) after this one, and that u've uses only 1 of your 4 Stitch in Times.

Also nice combo is Niv-Mizzet with Cloven Casting and Electrolyze, play the insane Electrolyze and copy it for only 1 colorless mana rofl.
Of course a definite MUST is to have Gelectrode or two out there to tap for playing all this instants and sorceries. Use Cast Through Time to make even more use of your spells and coping since when Rebound triggers if you played Stitch in Time the next turn you can copy it again and twice the number of turns. When I think of turn counting I just lose my math there hehehehhehe.

Anyway this deck works awesome, it's just to cool to watch your opponent sitting there while you make insane amounts of damage for 20 turns in a row. How would you feel? ^^ 3: )

if you're deck rely's on krark's thumb and cloven casting so much for the extra turns, i would suggest bumping the counts on those up to 4. just a thought though xD all in all though, i really like the deck! i've wanted to make an izzet deck for a while now, but have just never gotten around to it! xD good job!

Well the combo is just an alternate way to win the game. ^^
I just like the face of the people when they realize they'll be sitting and wating for 10 or more turns.

All in all this is rather sufficient card selection, if you check there are alot of cards that allow you to draw cards from library, so eventualy you'll get to what you need.

Having all thingies on the table would be a rather OVERKILL (2x Gelectrodes, Krakr's Thumb, Niv Mizzet, Cloven Casting and Cast Through Time that the ownage combo)

Nice deck! Copying Stitch in time is a great idea actually, I play Izzet and might give it a try some time. I would replace Incinerate with Lightning Bolt by the way, its a much better card.

Bwwah I like incinerates picture more ^^

Oh yeah deck also needs Sulfur Falls instead of Shivan Reef and with innistrad I would like to get some Charmbreaker Devils maybe, 1 or 2, I'll see how that will end up.

All in all stitch in time is an alternate fun win condition, if anyone dislike it, replacing and krark to fill the number of some other cards will work and give a tournament quality deck.
