This is a deck I created in response to all the annoying elf decks in my local meta during Lorwyn/Shadowmoor block. Two plainswalkers are engaged in a duel. One is an elf lord, summoning elves to his aid in the battle. The other is a crooked cobblesmith commanding awkward and disturbing scarecrows to do his bidding. Then, in the middle of the battle, the cobblesmith plainswalker begins summoning elves, and endless stream of horribly mutilated and dead elves. The bodies pile up endlessly around him and his scarecrows but he pays them no heed and continues to battle the elf lord as if nothing is happening. Imagine the effect this would have on your opponents morale, all that power and resources devoted to creating dead elves.
Flourishing Defenses and Blowfly Infestation. Once you kill a creature with a -1/-1 counter the fun can begin. Putting the counter on the creature triggers Defenses netting you a 1/1 elf, then the creature dies triggering Blowfly giving you a -1/-1 counter that you put on the elf you just created. You are now in an endless loop of creating elves only to have them die horribly.
