Nice try at the deck, but to be an EDH deck, the colors of the deck must be represented in the commander's converted mana cost

Wrong sir wrong. If that were the case then Wizards messed up putting Pontiff of Blight in the mono-black 2014 Commander Decks.
This is from the WotC Commander Rules page, "In fact, if a card contains a mana symbol anywhere on it that’s not one of your commander’s colors, you can’t include it in that deck!" But Pontiff of Blight's extort ability isn't a mana ability, thus, making it able to use in the mono-black deck.
