Deck Description

Main deck for milling with a possible mill out on the first turn because of the Archive Traps. Sideboard is geared for more creature control and against cards like Emrakul the Aeons Torn. Oboro, Palace in the Clouds is used with the Hedron Crab's landfall ability. The Kathari Remnant has the cascade ability to cast better milling spells. Low cost milling spells to make it easier to mill your opponent's deck away plus with the M15's artifact Profane Memento giving some life as well while cards are being milled.

How to Play

I play the Hedron Crabs asap. And whatever milling card I've got in my hand i play it. I save my Evacuation only when I need it the most. I hold back black mana to regenerate the Kathari Remnant because it's a good blocker since it has the ability to fly as well.

Deck discussion for Maniacal Mill

I love mill decks, especially when they actually work competitively and not just for fun. But can I ask why Duskmantle Guildmage and Traumatize aren't in here? They seem almost like givens for a UB mill deck.

well for one thing is this i don't have any of them. I've been working on this one for a while and just haven't had the opportunity to get any of them. They would be good for it though, I grant you that.

I feel you. The foil gods that decide our boosters are cruel in heart.
