Deck Description

1. It's really simple and should be a lot of fun to watch. I did a lot of calculations and sample hands should show you that by draw card 3/4 there's a good chance that I'll have a forest/mosswort bridge and either a mountain or plains to cast either Captured Sunlight or Bloodbraid Elf.

2. My most recent adjustment included massive extensive research until I finally found the card with the alternate cost I was looking for: Cave-in and Pyrokinesis! It's perfect! Red is my most common color and ties with white for land count (see point 1 above again for why). What this means is that on turns 1, 2 and maybe even 3 I can cast a cave-in and remove one my expensive red cards from the game to slow down my opponents mana/weenie creature count.

3. Austere Command is the final card I added because it's such an awesome utility card. It does what consume the meek does + more for mana cost that is much more easy for me to focus on (white), go back to point 1 again.

4. Enlisted Wurm ensures I either cast a cave-in, sarkhan the mad, Nexus, a 4 mana cascade into/or a cultivate.

5. Once Nexus is out hopefully Draco can be played and cascade into another big dragon or dragon storm. What would be really sweet is if you played draco into a wurm into elf into a cultivate and then you had a hideaway dragon storm with the mosswort bridge. Obviously you would try to take Karrthus as one of the dragons if he's available because then they all have haste and you get to pull a total of 5 including the original draco you casted and then run over your opponent. The stats are misleading but there's 11 dragons total. (can't forget the 4 dracos)

I final note is that all the dragons without haste either have a sick ability if they die or do something really useful when they get to attack. Dromar for instance could be used to try and clear the board of my opponents creatures.

Deck discussion for Dragon Overflow

Dragonspeaker Shaman might benefit this deck. Other suggestions you may consider working in would be darksteel ingot, wall of denial, and particularly some seething songs or something--cascading into a seething song and dropping another plus one mana lets you dragonstorm the mess out of this deck.

Thanks for the suggested cards, for the purpose of keeping the 5 and lower cc down I see a big problem with cascading seething song prematurely. In a straight up red/green dragon deck I could see using some of those cards you suggested with some others I've come across.

Right now I need to figure out which dragons to settle on, they should preferably have a cost of 6 or more.

Like you say, very slow. Try the ultimate that helpswith cascade (brilliant ultimatum?) and also hideaway lands, deathrender, elvish piper e.t.c to cheat them out.

I think hideaway lands are a good idea, getting Draco out almost will guarantee that I have 10+ on my side of the board. Elvish piper.... eh I'm not a big fan of how easy he can be killed. As for deathrender, i"ll give it some thought, I know my friend is all into that card so I feel funny using it to, lolz

Perhaps a Manaforce Mace would be useful.

The funny thing is that actually wouldn't be too bad since it would probably come in for free with cascade and then any extra could attach it. I feel like at this point it comes down to how much more defense I want to add.... it's really leaning towards offense right now. That's why I chose to put the Child of Alara in. I'm confident with cascade I could quickly build my permanents back up. I think I want to put one more dragon in with devour... so that if I deemed it necessary to pop the Child of Alara I could force it.
