Deck discussion for Venser's Virtue 2.0

Why ichorwellspring. Why not just play ponder?

I'll be switching the probes for ponder in game 2, after I've seen what my opponent can do! :)

b/c venser bounces it for free whenever he needs card draw.

That and I can sac them to the Cores for life and card draw, then recur them with Sun Titan then blink them with Venser same turn= crazy draw power!

Nice deck. Like the Ichor with venser, hadn't thought of that for mine. Seems like maybe you need a few one drops for early game though? Just a thought, maybe doomed traveler for the tokens. Keep up the good work.

Thank you!! :D

I thought about putting him in, I just don't know what I would cut. Also he would count as me having more creatures then my opponent, so I can get the 3 2/2 soldiers with vigilance on turn 3.

Looking good! Watch out that Timely doesn't become dead with all the token makers. ;)

Thanks Jace!

They should be fine, I put 3 in the deck for a better chance to draw them and they also help after I day the board if things get out of hand + the 6 life is always nice. Also snappy helps me cast it from my grave again when I need it.

Also wurmcoil engine and virtue are really gross together....

After a bit more adjusting, I think this will be the complete build for the deck! :D

Hey :D! Nice deck you made there!
-Maybe you could add one or two Morrland haunt, Just becuase you can, and that you play White and blue with Intangible virtue :D! so that means: exile one creature card from your graveyard and get a 2/2 spirit with flying and vigiliance, So nice :D!
-Good luck with the deck ;)

With all these exiled cards, why not sideboard in a karn if you find yourself getting a bunch of cards exiled later on in the game, and bring em back with him :) I think that would be an awesome win condition: "Oh and ill restart the game now" "Yea, ill just take all that stuff and start with it on the field no big deal..." that would kick ass IMO

I have a friend who did that and it was silly! Karn is really strong, I just need to play test the deck now and see if he is worth putting in or in the SB.

Love the draw combo with Venser. Its brilliant man, I wouldn't have thought about it at all to be honest, but then I've only been playing for a couple weeks. Nice deck man; wouldn't like a Hero of Bladehold be more appropriate then the Splicers though? I just mean, the Golem tokens are nice, but if they aren't the focus there are more Token efficient stratigies; like Doomed Traveler etc.

Thanks! :D If I take out the splicers I'm removing targets for Venser and the hero is great, but the splicers will be producing more tokens because of Venser, will be much bigger and will have more abilities then the soldiers.

I gotcha. Since their ability procs when they enter, you can bounce them with Venser and make a factory out of them. I saw the draw combo and missed the token one; jeez I'm slow ;)

Can Venser bounce himself to prevent being destoryed or attacked?

Hahahahahaa that's okay AbsoluteShadow I aways appreciate any feedback, it's really easy to over look cards. Yes Venser can bounce himself but it's done at socery and can't be activated on an opponent's turn or in respone to something. But it could be used for replacing lost counters putting himself back to 3 end of turn.
