I like it. Instead of the shocks I would put lightning bolts. Same mana cost more damage.

Trying to keep it standard...thought bolt was 2011
LB has rotated out but id put in incinerate instead of shock...much better
Reason I am putting shock is cuz of 1 mana cost for past in flames. But incinerate is one I will sideboard
Your mana curve is pretty good, but I think you could do better than the myr. Is their sole purpose to add extra mana? If so, then alloy myr work nicely in their place. They aren't birds of paradise, but they do the trick. Or you could just skip the mana ramp creatures and fill the spots with more cheap burn/ control spells. And with that in mind, the past in flames should be bumped up to 3 so you can keep bringing the hits later on in the game. This is a good deck. I'd like to see it in action. The only cards I would definitely replace are the myr. And add more past in flames, or if you get lucky and find a snapcaster mage laying around someplace, it might help you out also. (hate to be cliche though)
I just opened up a box of innistrad today and pulled out 2 snap casters so I'll replace the myr with em...would u suggest a psychic barrier or maybe mana leak for the control until I can get the mana base for my titans. Also looking at the new innistrad cards maybe even curse of the pierced heart? Thanks for the input btw!
Wow. That was a lucky pull. Mana leak is where it's at, right now. And curse of the pierced heart is for a different deck. Look at dissipate for more control cards. And if you need creatures to stick with your theme, you should look at Cackling Counterpart. Mind shrieker is another cool card, and it only cost 2 mana, and one of the mana is colorless... That's always good in a multi-color deck.
Also, if you're planning on casting cards from your graveyard with past in flames, you should probably also consider (at least side-boarding) some Burning Vengeances. They would work REALLY effectively alongside those past in flames and snapcaster mages.
I would like to go burning vengeance because I see the advantages in it but I will be moving from the focus of my deck. I have some cackling counterparts but the only thing that I do not like about them is that I can only target a creature that I control. I like the other copy creatures as a deterrent or a stall till my infernos because I can also copy their own creatures. I will sideboard dissipate most likely. Thank you for all of your help, do you mind if I add you?
Go ahead. And you're right about the burning vengeance's. They just work so nicely with those past in flames. lol Keep it on track! And the cackling counterparts are definitely a little weaker than the others. BUT, if you use those alloy myr, you could throw in a couple of evil twins... Just a thought.
With past in flames, are there any red mana accel cards in standard right now? Like a seething song-type of thing? That might be cool. If you're going for burning vengeance, then 4x snappy and 4x past in flames would be good if you could. I like more mana leak in favor of Traitorous blood. But i'm a blue player, what do I know. Cool deck, I like it!
There are 2 standard red mana accel cards right now. Infernal plunge which is 1 red for 3 but uhave to sac a creature and there is also geosurge from phyrexia that adds 5 or 6 but can only be spent on creature/artifacts.
Infernal plunge is fun with traitorous blood. vapor snag isn't very good so if you want you could try 3 infernal plunges and + 1 traitorous blood the plunges could help inferno titan get out early if that helps.
I wanted the snag for just some control and also damage my opponent in the process. I have infernal plunges and will try them out against a few of my friends and see which works better. I have plunges in my steal creatures and then kill em deck heh love em
I think Past in Flames can be cut, because you need lot's of mana to use it effectively, Traitorous Blood for mimic vat because it provides more utility (copying Inferno if he dies or snapcaster, etc.), shock for Red sun's Zenith because it shuffles you library and removes the creature it kills from the game (no morbid) finally its an alternate kill, go up to four mana leak, more stuff that helps you rumage through your deck like forbidden alchemy, And you might want to a little up on your land count maybe 21-23, and my final most raical piece of advice...have you thought about putting green in for things like emmasaries, land ramp and Parallel lives if you want to make tokens of the titan.
oh yeah my deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=250364
I REALLY like the idea for mimic vat...for some reason didn't even cross my mind lol thanks
I don't know whether you've tested it already or not, but gelectrode could be good in this deck.. Tap him for 1 damage, cast an instant, untap him, and tap him again for 4 damage from one shock.. rinse and repeat
Trying to keep it standard but thank you.
I was going to go trigger-happy with card suggestions, but then i remembered this was supposed to be standard. =)) Have you tried using Brimstone Volley? XD
