Deck Description

vedelken master mind and stasis are a early game lock down... play stasis on you turn,,, end of turn return end of their turn... tejihad stylis and the totem let you stil permanets.... when you get a levler in play kepp putting stasis on the bottom of your librairy with stylis... or just continue to cast a becon of tomarrows! i can lock down a table full of guys and they either sit there and wait to die or quit.... conters take care of anything that you don\'t want played!

Deck discussion for leveler lockdown

What a boring deck. If it did work, it sounds like the most uninteresting game of magic for anyone playing with you.

It is pretty creative though.

ever heard of competive magic? i won a good amout of cash... and a box of urza saga... type one usally aint all that fun torney wise! usally the game is usally won on the 1st or second round... and the deck does work...

Add in more Counterspell, 4 just isnt enough to keep big threats off the board. And where is the card draw? And 20 lands just simply is not enough. Also, what does the Advarice Totem do in the deck? If you give it to them, they can possibly steal your leveler. Meh, I kind of have to agree with pillowsrock, lock down decks really are no fun to play against, but whatever works for ya.

the avrice totum combos with the tejihad stylis... tap put target permantent you own on bottom of your library! you should have the game locked down by turn 3... and with stasis they get maybe one or 2 more spells off that whole game... 4 counter spells is enought... and you can steal any creatures they cast with the totum or bounce it with the time elemental... no threat there!

I dig this twist on the traditional Stasis deck. I LOVE Leveler/Tel-Jihad combo. Nice one mate. The only thing I would advise, is maybe getting rid of the Guardian Idola and the Ur-Golem's Eyes for Boomerangs and Frozen Aether, the blue Kismet.

Black Vise is what I play in my Stasis Deck. I dig this twist though.
