Unleashed creature kill

by darkbit on 21 October 2012

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

This is a red and black deck that is mainly used to deal a lot of damage, and kill some creatures. It beat my tournament quality infect deck, but it always had a weakness for creature kill. (mono-green infect that is)

Any suggestions, because I don't have a way of knowing how good or bad this deck is?

Deck discussion for Unleashed creature kill

most likely the only reason it beat u is because of all the low cost strong creatures. if it werent for those it most likely wouldnt have a chance against an infect deck

First of, get Cackler in, one of the best one drops in standard at the moment, i'd replace splatterthug with him. Secondly I'd get rid of Spawn of Rix Maadi as well as Dead Reveler and Grim Roustabout.

Instead I'd play the Shred Freaks and Vexing Devils.

As for removal, Dreadbore is very nice, so is Ultimate price.

Since it looks like you are going for pure aggro, fill up on some more Dark Favors and maybe Deviant Glee.

If I was going to build a 100% aggro Rakdos, this is the way I'd go at least :)

You know what. I kind of like this one the way it is. Its refreshing to see a deck that casual people will buy. Why drop $4 on a booster when you can have a full deck for a third of the cost. Have you had the chance to play test against any other decks outside of that mono-green infect?

I have been testing out more, and It is going 2/2 so far with the infect which I will post later. The reason the cost is so low on this one is because I built this deck with the cards I had just lying around.

Two cards you would want to add would be Rakdos Cackler and deviant glee. You can have a turn 2 4/3 and a chance to make him have trample if you want :3

I was looking for a one mana hybrid unleashed creature, so I guess I will have to buy some when I get to go to the shop; then after I go to the shop and get it I will update the deck, and check into deviant glee.

I am going to do what I call a fork, and show the updated deck.
