My first deck focusing on countering and drawing until u can get out guile or overbeing criticism and comments appreciated also im on a budget and cant afford past 3-4 dollar cards

Deck discussion for draw control

too much draw not enough control and your only real win condition is the overbeing, try somoro first to dream, dreamleash, domonus of fealty, and maybe even a garruk

those are good cards but im not sure what cards to take out somoro for aeon? dream leash for ponder? thanks for the card advice tho i didnt know those cards exsisted

I dont really know what to add dont play much decks like these. MAbey take out 2 Soramaro's and add 2 of something else. 4 legendary creatures is kind of a waste since u can only have 1 out at a time which makes the other 3 in your deck wasted space until the fist one is destroyed. Thats about the only thing i know to do othe then that it looks pretty good

First of all, I hate green decks. But mostly, I hate blue-green decks.

Now a few comments: Add Arcanis. Renove Jace cuz ur opponents draw cards either and u dont have enough counterspells to control threats. Dream Lash is useless. Better put Vedalken Shackles. Add Cryptic Command. Add Telepathy if you want. Remove Dream Fructure. Remove 2 Spellbooks. I think thats enough for now. :)

hhaha well they are just hybrids only using blue and also...im on a budget and unfortunetly cant afford vedalken and cryptic i saw them but i just cant afford them....telepathy is agreat addition and same with arcanis

u need some low mana creatures like mistbind clique and spelstuuter sprite and some more counter spells to be able to go late game the then play ur bigg guys late game

u could take a faerie base but thats expensive

Needs more counterspells.

A good one to play early on is Rune Snag.

Ok. Cut down your deck, add 4 more lands so that you can actually play your finishers, and possibly add Aeon Chronicler.

And if you want to draw as many cards as possible for some reason, Flow of Ideas may suit you.

However, you probably have enough card draw.

Also, the person above me doesn't know the meaning of a counterspell control deck.

Good concept for a Deck. I had a Green Blue one similar to this with Maro that never seemed to work.
My suggestions:

- 3 Spellbook
- 1 Guile
- 4 Boomerang
+ 2 Tidings
+ 3 Islands
+ 1 Propaganda
+ 2 Repulse

Spellbooks need card draw, Tidings provide that. Propaganda stops their creatures. Repulse bounces like boomerang but also gets you a card. And you just needed afew more lands.

My only other suggestion is that you have a 3 or 4 drop creature, you go from 1 and 2 cc creatures to 5 and 6 cc
