Deck Description

This deck is a clone of Elspeth's Zombie Army by PauperEDHGeneral.

http://www.mtgvault.com/pauperedhgeneral/decks/elspeths-zombie-army/

This started out as a clone and I wish to thank one of our best and brightest contributors on MTGvault for the idea. I tweaked a bit, and maybe I'll even get to play this giant with it one day. Suggestions are welcome but please try not to stray too much from the idea and the efficientness. Also check out the original idea and it's creator. I don't think I've cloned so many decks from any other single person to tweak as him\her.

Thank you.

How to Play

Pretty straightforward midrange zombies,
[Sorin, Lord of Innistrad]for the emblem(s), [Elspeth Tirel]for her ult and nice +1,
[Erebos, God of the Dead] for card draw and to stop them from managing my aggression with lifegain, also to be greedy if I wish to change [Path to Exile] for [Swords to plowshares], though I doupt it as I can ramp using tokens I really don't care about anyway.
[Bloodghast] and [Gravecrawler] for their incredible economy of course and to be able to trigger Endless ranks of The Dead easier
[Cemetery Reaper] primarily to remove threats with reanimating decks but also to get "something for nothing" as he boosts most of my creatures and at the same time makes more of them,
[Intangible virtue] for aggro and vigilance, giving zombies essentially what knights and soldiers allready have
[Blind Obedience] to counter Aggro and to be able to extort if the game goes into a later phase
[Grave Titan] hardly needs any explanations and is the main reason for
[Whip of Erebos] though it can combat trick with [Cemetery Reaper]. I'm sure I will find something to add that lets me abuse having extra life (I really do belive life is just a resource, to be used and haggled over like mana or the number of creatures in play]
[Army of the Damned] is a very, very greedy card but I want to have at the very least 1 huge finisher, especially since I only have combat dammage as a way to win
[Wrath of God] since I spew more tokens anyway and want to keep my planeswalkers doing whatever for more turns and also comboes with [Whip of Erebos], [Gravecrawler] and [Bloodghast]
[Read the Bones] now i wanted to remove it entirley from the original deck but I, in my unending wisdom decided that being able to scry 2 then draw 2 was, as they say "fuc*in' fab!". What's left? oh wait!
[Necromancer's Covenant] now I don't have a lot of experience with this card but it's one of those cards you can take 1 look at and realise is easily veritile and would be completly broken if it cost 1 less mana. Do I have a lot of cards in my graveyard I wish to exile? I do not. BUT HOLD! If all your creatures became, say 2\2 tokens and mine was 3\3 vigilance, would that not be a fantastic premise to win the game?

Sideboard to come.
