using the glarecasters ability leave 6 untapped mana and redirect any damage or when knight-captain of eos is out pay 1 and sac a soldier to prevent all damage. Or if you have played elspeth use magus of the disk as it would destroy everything.

i dnt remember the cards name but my wife has a car that lets her get 6 soldier tokens for 4 of 12 for 11. it looks like that card could help. i like ur idea unfortunately thats all i can think of atm

conquerors pledge i used to have 1 in but with nomads assembly you get a lot more because of the rebound
nomad is hard to cast. maybe add more token making so you can use Eldrazi Monument. then add some more wrath board wiping.
