Modern version of a deck of mine.Dropped Brainstorms and Chasm Skulkers for a bit more removal via Trygon Predator, Mutant's Prey and Burst of Strength.
A lot of single +1/+1 counters moving around, so it's basically optimized for Hardened Scales.Ordeal of Thassa cracks the turn you cast it most of the time, making it extremely cheap draw mechanic.Glen Elendra Archmage's persist -1/-1 counters are fairly easy to nullify with the steady flow of +1/+1 counters from graft creatures. Nearly unlimited counterspells.Burst of Strength should be used as a surprise block. It's often far better than the 1-2 extra damage. Your creatures will be getting fairly big, so playing aggressive (read no defenders) is often how you want to go about it.Only use Rogue's Passage if your opponent is tapped out and you are certain he can't deal with the unblockable. Otherwise, just play safe and save mana for Glen Elendra or Plaxcaster.

Solidarity of Heroes doubles the number of +1/+1 counters on a creature at instant speed.

Noted, but got a feeling I can get better results with Burst of Strength and Ordeal of Thassa. With Hardened Scales and all the single +1/+1 counters flying around, I think creatures will still be big enough.
Just had an idea. With all these +1/+1 counters flying around, Glen Elendra Archmage could be a semi permanent counter effect. All you need it Simic Guildmage on the battlefield to counter almost any noncreature spell for {1}{G}{U}Also, have you considered Vigean Hydropon?
Glen Elendra can keep countering spells with counters from graft creatures for a single {U}.I was considering Hydropon and really wanted it for it's Johny-ish mechanic, but felt it did too little when compared to same cmc creatures such as Plaxcaster or Trygon.
War of the Sparks brought some good landfall/ proliferate cards that you could add here:Evolution Sage (Works like a charm with Nissa, Who Shakes the World's ultimate), Pollenbright Druid, Contentious Plan and Courage in Crisis could be worth a look.
Contentinous Plan is something I've been wondering if it's better than Tezzeret's Gambit here. I do have Ordeal of Thassas to help with the draws too...For the other cards I'm not sure what I could replace. The graft creatures are an important base for the deck, without which I might not always have counters to proliferate.
if you can afford it, you might want to add a few of Branching Evolution
Sounds strong for the graft creatures. I'll look in to it, but the main concern with this is to keep the ratio between creatures vs support good, so the deck can still put pressure from the get go till the end. Branching Evolution seems like more of setup kind of card. This kinda goes to the decks roots too. It was built on Hardened Scales, so I deliberately put in cards that would give a single counter and do something else for maximum benefit. I also deliberately skiped doubling effects for this reason, as doubling one has the same net gain as Hardened Scales. Plus doublers usually required much more set up, like Vorell of the Hullclade or Gilder Bairn, which I might not get benefits from in a single turn. As a passive effect Branching Evolution might just work for graft creatures and the hydra.
Trygon Predator is fun with Liquimetal Coating. :)
Sure is :p Wouldn't dare to add it here for 3 Trygon Predator alone though, heh.
