Marriage, Marriage is What Brings Us Together Today!!! In a Ghost Quarter outside of Orzhova, a Godless Shrine located inside a Isolated Chapel is where 2 Planeswalkers will meet to make a "deathpact" with the Orzhov Syndicate to ensure victory at Dragon's Maze. This Isolated Chapel is inhabited by a living Geist-Honored Monk & a legion of Lingering Souls with Intangible Virtue. These spirits are most known for their Midnight Haunting(s) at the Vault of the Archangel which is also located inside the Isolated Chapel. The Geist-Honored Monk has both Legendary Human & Spirit Advisor(s) (i.e. Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts & Obzedat, Ghost Council) for all matters concerning the Isolated Chapel.

The "deathpact" has been approved by Legendary Advisors, pending the blessing of a Legendary Cleric (Mikaeus, the Lunarch). News of the pending "deathpact" is carried by a Doomed Traveler who must report to Captain of the Watch & Gather the Townsfolk in order to rally support for the "deathpact". The townsfolk's Increasing Devotion to the "deathpact" has moved Mikaeus to a decision that the "deathpact" must be blessed. In order to protect himself & all involved parties of the "deathpact" he has enlisted the services of the "Soldiers of the Watch".

The "Soldiers of the Watch" stand in awe of the 2 Planeswalkers ready to enter the Isolated Chapel to make a "deathpact", none other than Sorin (Lord of Innistrad) & Liliana of the Veil. Before proceeding into the chapel Liliana hand's the Captain of the Watch a sacred Artifact, the Mask of Avacyn. As Liliana enters the chapel she sees Sorin flanked by a Vampire Nighthawk before Mikaeus at the Godless Shrine. Both Sorin & Liliana now stand before Mikaeus to offer tribute for the Orzhov Syndicate, Sorin offers his Oblivain Ring & Liliana offers her Witchbane Orb. The tribute is accepted & the "deathpact" is made.

Casual Environment - Virtually Undefeated w/ few exceptions. Friday Night Magic - Top 8. Lost to Reanimator Spiked Decks. This deck is made from cards I actually have, I try to build w/ a budget in mind b/c I don't have 100s of dollars to spend on all the best cards or Mom/Dad bank rolling my play. The only thing in this deck that is expensive is the Liliana's, I'm luck to have them they were pulled out of booster packs when I started playing again. The Odzedat was pulled from a pack last week as well. The guys using Reanimator around here have full playsets of the Top Rated & Most Expensive Cards (Angel of Serenity, Thragtusk, Shock Lands...) & are just spiking Pro Decks making them hard to beat. Against everyone else this deck is exceptional. Went 2:1 against Mill, I had too many creature to early in the game for 1 of the Wins & took out 1 of his only creatures by Tragic Slip to 1 of my own creatures (Spirit token) to go in & Morbid Tragic Slip his Restoration Angel (would have worked the same w/ his Angel of Serenity). Aced mono-red by Tragic Slip & Oblivion Ring to anything he tried to put on the board from the beginning & just aggro attacked little by little to the W. Aced Zombie/Vampire Undying "blink" Lifegain/Lifedrain themed, played out like the vs mono-red. Aced another guy who was close to mirror, but his deck was way slower. No Intangible Virtue / No Gather the Townsfolk / No Liliana / 1 Sorin.... was trying to use Phantom General in the place of Intangible Virtue. I just used Tragic Slip & Oblivian Ring while I built my Human/Spirit army by the time he had anything on the battle field that he could use I was dropping Intangible Virtue to boost an army for the W.

Should have been using those Ghost Quarter(s). Good-bye Guildgate(s), Hello Ghost Quarter(s). I cannot believe how much this deck has improved by just getting rid of 2 Orzhov Guildgate(s) & 1 Swamp / 1 Plains. Fetches me the land I need, sac 1 of opponents high value lands or that Forrest those Arbor Elves love to keep untapping, slows down opponents progress, & gives me a quick shuffle. Awsome.
