Deck Description

I have been running this deck since they released the commander sets last year. This deck is unstoppable.

THIS IS THE WAY KAALIA OF THE VAST WAS MEANT TO BE RUN!

If you want to see grown people cry, then cast Kaalia with a hand full of creatures and take away all of their lands. Kaalia will continue to beat their face in, over and over.

One on one OR one on two, your opponent(s) will concede after the first time you blow up their lands.

There are a few reanimator cards in this deck. A well placed one, two punch with Insurrection, in multiplayer, is utterly fantastic.

This deck is meant to be played very aggressively (AND FAST), so if you are not that type of player, this deck is not for you.

***PLEASE NOTE*** My opinion with regard to this deck's competitiveness is justified. I have beaten (more than once) some of the best well built decks out there; mono-green Omnath, mono-blue wizard, Bosh artifact, Riku, Worldgorger Dragon, etc.

Deck discussion for [NO BALLS] Clay's Kaalia of the Vast

wow pretty interesting deck here. i ran a kaalia deck and she is alot of fun to abuse. my advice is becareful, i have a friend in my area who specializes in white decks. dropin all of the Circles of pro, goastly prison, windborn muse and norm's annex. wasnt much i could do at the time. personaly i have found sign in blood to be handy at certain times, and everlasting torment has helped out alot as well. just a thought, furnace of rath or gradious violence can be fun as well.

80% of the time, I am able to put out at least one of the hexproof equipments, then pull Kaalia out on turn 4 or 5, with a land destruction spell on turn 5, 6 or 7. Another 15% of the time, I am able to tutor for one of the deck's reset buttons. The last 5% of the time, I've kept a bad hand.

You have to know when to mulligan. By the time you have used your "free" tourney mulligan, you should have what you need to get started (I have gone down to 5 cards in the past). The number and type of creatures you start out with in your hand is negligible versus the mana, plus ramp, in your starting hand. I would rather draw into big beefys than have a starting hand full of them.

If Kaalia is out, with no creatures in my hand, I tutor for Dragon Mage. If he goes unblocked every turn, he refills your hand every time he does damage.

***You must keep your opponents mana base as small as possible as you continue the game (Very Important)***
