With the awesome combinations of the older treefolk cards, and the newer green cards, treefolks are awesome. Share with me any wisdom you may have to offer

What's the point of the birds of paradise? If you're going for monogreen, you don't need a source of any color mana.

depending on what your opponent runs. i'd SB the birds of paradise and move something a little more useful for ramping or boosting power and/or toughness into their place.

........Then wouldn't it make more sense to main board something that's a little more useful for ramping in their place?

The card is in there as a good one drop, and mainly for the ramp, any suggestions on what I can replace them with?

well, llanowar elves are a go to choice, but the flying of the birds of paradise might have been an appealing factor in the choice to include them, so, i got nothing specific other than a 1 drop mana generating elf or something to make your airborne defenses more solid.

Why not remove the Birds to add some Naturalizes, or Crushing Vines, etc. This deck is good, but can be locked down very easily with Artifacts/ Enchantments.

- 3 Birds of Paradise
+ 1 Crushing Vines
+ 2 Naturalize

?? Just a suggestion.

i'd say that's a better set of suggestions than mine haha

I think you need Unstoppable Ash to this deck...

Ultimately I decide to cut the Ashes, as my Timber Protectors give my creatures indestructible, and I already don't need to worry about my Treefolk being burnt on account of their high toughness

Spidersilk Armor would give your creatures +0/+1 and reach, to help deal with flying.

Raking canopy is in the sideboard for anti flyers

I think Bow of Nylea would be an awesome addition!

I'm trying to keep as high a creature count as I can, to keep my card draws in synchronization with my leaf-crowned elders, and my descendants' path

Have a Similar Deck myself, mine is more focused on ramping and making big Dauntless Dourbarks and Dungrove Elders, but your build might work.
I run Corrosive Gale in my Sideboard to deal with Flyers, In a pinch, you can pay the PHyrexian Mana with 2 life to use all your land to wipe them out.
Also, Reach of Branches is awesome in any Treefolk Deck if the game goes long, Bosk Banneret makes it cheaper, you get more Treefolk for Dauntless Dourbark, and as long as you keep playing forests, it keeps coming back to your hand!
Hope this helps!

Really like this :D Made a treefolk deck myself but couldnt resist Doran the Siege tower combo, originally had it with hold the gates from gatecrash but now ive stuck it in with tower defense, makes for a pretty nasty kill spell.

I really like Garruk here as its always nice to get more cards into hand when your piling out the pain.

My deck if peeps want to check out Tower defense + doran shenanigans :D

I did the same thing with a different deck, but I replaced the tower defenses with taking canopys
