I'm very well aware, but I'm mainly using it for the first strike along with all your discard sorceries and instants hitting the yard. I would love to use Liliana's Caress, but I'm trying to keep this deck standard. Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome deck, dude! How do the Parallel Lives and Intangible Virtue hold up? The Parallel Lives seems pretty do-nothing, until you get a Feed the Pack out, but then again, you do get a retarded amount of wolves. I also have a Feed the Pack deck, but I made it as a $5 budget challenge. Tell me what you think! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=341522
I really haven't had the best luck with the Dragon, unfortunately. While I agree that it can get pretty hard to deal with, with a Lord of the Unreal out (and that my mana base can allow for it), when playing with this deck, I haven't found it useful to ever throw one out over holding mana for a counter/Snapcater Mage + Counter. It's always good to just sit on one of your low mana beaters and always hold counter magic up. At some point, I do want to test Phyrexian Metamorph in place of the 2 Dismember. When I used to play my Grand Architect build of Illusions, Phyrexian Metamorph was always a star alongside Phantasmal Image.
Why doesn't this deck have Splinterfright?
I have been considering Inexorable Tide, but I don't know about the chalice. Originally the intent was getting a standard legal deck that I could play casually (which is why I chose to run Grand Architect for extra mana since it easily pumps out all of my architects). I still don't know if I want non standard cards in this deck quite yet, but I'll still sit on the chalice as a back-up mana source since it works pretty well with proliferate.
Why do you think Liquimetal Coating would be a good idea?
FLYING ZOMBIEZ!!! Excuse me, I don't know what came over me. I would just scrap Rooftop Storm. As much as I would love to put out free zombies, it's way too slow. To fully utilize the zombies that need to exile creatures from the graveyard, I'd throw in Forbidden Alchemy or Dream Twist to easily put cards into the graveyard.
Is the only win-con Roiling Terrain?
Always good to throw in a few Treasure Mages to get those Wurmcoil Engines in your hand :P
Dungrove was a thought, but I can't see playing him in anything but a mono-green. But I have 6 hexproof creatures in my deck. 2-of Thrun, the Last Troll and 4 of the new Invisible Stalker from Innistrad (Azure Mage is it's placeholder). I'm still not 100% on the new Garruk. His front side is a bear making machine, and during his transformation he's really vulnerable. I like Garruk, Primal Hunter for not only his token making abilities, but also his -2 card draw. I was thinking of throwing in a few Llanowar Elves, or possibly a Rampant Growth, but I'll test those out when Innistrad is fully spoiled. Thanks for the input!
Honestly, you don't want more than 2-3 Glissa's. While one is on the field, multiples are dead in hand. Cut 1-2 for a Wurmcoil engine which is a game-ender in and of himself (plus he works with Glissa's ability.) If you have problems with lowering the count, you could always add in more Green Sun's Zenith. Always a good card, and you could definitely use more than 1. I would put Baloth in the sideboard and add in some hand disruption spells like Inquisition of Kozilek, Despise or Distress. Other than that I like the deck a lot! Can't go wrong with a good rock deck =P Mind if you take a look at my deck? It would be much appreciated! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=228458
I think I might try +2 Geth's Verdict, -1 Call to the Grave, -1 Doom Blade to better work with Mortician Beetle. How does that sound?
That's why I only have 2 Zombie Infestations. It's not great, but it's there for whenever I need it (Discarding Vengeful Pharaohs and cards that are dead weight). I will give the deck a shot with and without it, though. I like Mortician Beetle + Call to the Grave, but you're right. Mortician Beetle isn't a zombie, though I do have ways to get around that. I can attach Nim Deathmantle to it, or, if I do happen to have sac'd it without the Deathmantle out, Gravedigger can get it back out from the graveyard, and I can recast/equip that way. I'll also playtest with and without it, but it seems good for the time being. Thanks for the criticism!
Hahaha, that's hilariously awesome.
BG Death-Rock http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=209214 Need some advice! Comment for Comment :P
Geez! Can't believe I forgot about that guy haha. I'll try to throw him in somewhere, though I'm not too sure what to take out. If Mirrorworks doesn't seem to work out, I might replace it with Etched Monstrosity.
I really hate doing this, because you probably get quite a few of them that you just don't look through, but could you skim my deck and give some critique/criticism? I'm on a fairly tight schedule to get these cards in time to play my group of friends. Any bit of advice is welcome, be it big or almost insignificant. I feel you could be the best help since you've made a golem deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=183186
Thanks for the thoughts. I've adjusted the numbers of lands and spells, and took out a few artifact cards. I still would like to playtest this, but i'm not sure how to do that. Are there any free programs you can use to actually get a rough idea of how you can play your deck? I've drawn quite a few sample hands to see what my opening moves would be, and it seems to play the way I want it so far.
