Black/White control deck. With all of the token decks running around of late, Wrath effects can be very effective.. this deck focuses on the interaction between a few high-powered creatures and Divine Reckoning, especially. I've worked hard at lowering the mana-curve as much possible so as to protect yourself while you build early resources. But, this is a late-game deck, so you'll be surviving for the first 4-5 turns until you can start to build up an advantage in board presence. Take a look at some of the interactions... Divine Reckoning + Manor Gargoyle + Fatty Divine Reckoning + Aegis Angel + Fatty Divine Reckoning + Sangromancer Divine Reckoning + Tribute to Hunger Heartless Summoning + Phyrexian Rager Heartless Summoning + various Fatties Liliana + Sangromancer (life gains) Liliana + Divine Reckoning Liliana + Aegis Angel Unburial Rites + Divine Reckoning/Zenith Your ultimate goal is cast Divine Reckoning with some creature (aside from Rager) on the board, granting you a huge advantage in creature-quality. Force the opponent to sacrifice his last creature with Liliana or Tribute to Hunger. Save an indestructible Gargoyle for extra board presence. If you're forced to burn a Wrath spell too early (i.e. to save yourself from a nicely curved aggro deck), flashback Unburial Rites and Divine Reckoning will help the later stale-mate. ----------------------------------------- Working on lowering the curve even more if possible, without losing the late-game impact. Also, the mana is certainly an issue here... any thoughts?
