Turn 1 play Lotus Petal, Lotus Petal, Erayo, Gitaxian Probe, Island(not Needed). Run some Ponders and Preordains and it's even better...But Abrupt Decay still works.

I think a BUG version might work once Khans is out. Delve could work wonders, maybe.

Honestly, I'd remove an Island for Venser.

I'm going to have to test this deck a bit, see how Loam really works. Thing is, I can't afford Tarmogoyf, so I don't use it in any lists. I've always liked the idea of Knight of the Reliquary in Loam though, so I've tried Naya as well.
I also really don't like Seismic Assault, even though that is the deck, lol.
Give me a week and I'll have a couple versions up.
Edit: I really really really like blue though, lol.

I've been wanting to build a Loam deck for the longest time, I just never like how they look. I really like Faithless Looting in here. Gosh, I may just make one now, I love Faithless Looting... think think thunk. Thank you sir for that amazing idea that never even crossed my mind. I might use black, and some other stuff and things. :D

That sounds like my old standard deck. Hand of Emrakul podded into jin gitaxias. Wurmcoils into elesh norn. Think i had nest invaders and some other spawn makers... But maybe those were two different decks.

I'm sure there are things that could work in edh. I'm sure.

Scornful Egotist actually has some uses (mana cost matters stuff). A two mana 1/2 Flyer isn't even a Forest Bear, which has the Vanilla factor. They don't even compare.

But that seems insanely good with Hornet Nest.

Obelisk of Urd is nasty. Can you put some Hornet Stings in your Sideboard? I'd appreciate that so much, lol.

Uhhhhhhh, that's. Amazing.

It's my standard deck for Game Day, and until rotation. It's basically just ramping into a turn 3 or 4 Blood Baron, and controlling throughout the game.

I did it with Kiki-Jiki, Intruder Alarm and Storm Crow once.
