This is a version of melira pod, a deck used a lot in modern. I bought a version of this deck from my friend when he needed money for his girlfriend. It didn't use black back then, and it was a little too unpredictable, so I added more cards to it that focused around the core theme. It can also be made pretty cheaply if you leave out the shock lands and scrylands, so it's not too hard to put together.
Okay, most people already know how a melira pod deck works, but for those of you who don't, with melira out your creatures can't get -1/-1 counters, so your creatures with persist can die as many times as they need to. You get her out and then sacrifice your creatures an infinite number of times with blasting station to kill your opponent, or to find cards you need with viscera seer. You can also use kitchen finks to gain infinite life. Heartmender can keep your creatures alive until you get a combo, and birthing pod is just in there to help find the cards you need.
