I think he's aiming for a Standard build though, which Thrumming Stone is not.

I would add Mental Misstep on the sideboard for sure. Will help against pesky Surgical Extractions, Kuldotha Rebirth, other pesky one/zero drops that escape your Duress.
Np, hope it's fun to play, I know I enjoy playing my Liliana's Caress deck.
Just a few of my favorites, I'm totally not a Chippy, Steve Argyle, or Liliana Vess fan :P: Augur of Skulls Ravinca Swamp by Stephan Martiniere Lots of John Avon lands too many to list Guul Draz Vampire M10 Hypnotic Specter M10/M11 Duress Garruk vs. Liliana Snuff Out M11 Liliana Vess Chandra Ablaze/Nalaar M11 Maritime Guard Lich's Mirror Simian Specter Suture Priest Copperhorn Scout Daarken's Drudge Skeletons Jace Beleren Liliana's Caress (I'm not a Liliana Vess fan, not at all >.>) alt art for Liliana's Specter Burning Wish Act of Treason Chippy's Lord of the Pit Vigil For The Lost Chris Rahn's Enslave Need For Speed Masked Gorgon Soul Collector Baneslayer Angel Aether Adept Damnation Geosurge Blind Zealot Chandra's Spitfire Jace vs Chandra Chandra Nalaar Nirkana Revevnant Whispering Specter Elspeth, Knight Errant Barony Vampire Bloodthrone Vampire Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief Kalastria Highborn Vein Drinker Jesper Myrfor's Will-o'-the-Wisp Camel (ok this one mostly just because Camel is just the most awesome creature in the game :P)
I like this, except that I feel like it might need a splash of blue to counter attempts to remove your Orb.
I'd add either 2-3 Black Sun's Zenith or a playset of Marrow Shards (it's white phyrexian mana so you can still cast it) to the sideboard for use against aggro decks. BSZ is more versatile and recurs but Marrow Shards is easier to get a hold of. Also Memoricide is an invaluable sideboard card. If you know the decks you play against you can easily cripple them by taking out a piece of their combo or their wincon with a Memoricide. I'd add 2 of those at least on the sideboard. You also need a way to deal with Planeswalkers so add 2-3 Vampire Hexmages to the sideboard. I like the idea of putting Enslave in against decks that have big indestructible fatties (Blightsteel Colossus), dunno if it's a very viable strategy, but I like the idea, so keep a couple of thos if you'd like. Otherwise I'd say put in a couple of Geth's Verdict, Gatekeeper of Malakir, or Consuming Vapors. So to sum things up: -4 Rise From The Grave, -4 Shrine of Limitless Power, +3 Black Sun's Zenith/ Marrowshards, +2 Memoricide, -1 Enslave, +3 Vampire Hexmage and then either keep the 2 remaining Enslaves or dump them for +2 Geth's Verdict/Consuming Vapors/Gatekeeper of Malakir. I also don't like the Pirahana Marshes, I'd rather just run 20 swamps. If you had a Guul Draz Specter in your hand, for instance, and a Pirahna Marsh was your fourth land drop, you'd have to wait a whole 'nother turn to play your Specter. It just really messes with the tempo I think. Oh and if you ever draw into a Sign In Blood you don't need you can always use it on your opponent and then force them to discard the cards they just drew doing further damage with your Quests possibly and the Caresses. Won't happen often but still fun when it does.
I think you're a little heavy on targeted removal. I'd get rid of 2x Doom Blade and 2x Go For The Throat, or 4x of one of them and then sideboard them. I'd also get rid of the Enslaves and add Painful Quandary in their place, it's a decent replacement for the Rack. In place of the targeted removal I'd add Sign In Blood to help draw into your goodies.
Yeah I was considering Norn's Annex. The Phyrexian mana cost, while one of it's benefits, is also one of it's downsides. The spell would be most helpful against an aggro deck and paying 4 life isn't such an appealing idea when up against an aggro deck, but it is definitely a card I plan to tinker around with.
Needs more early discard options imo. Your earliest drop for discard is Liliana's Specter and by turn three, a lot of decks will already have gotten some nasty stuff out, plus depleted a decent portion of their hand. I'd drop the Ritualists and the Encores at the very least in order to add a playset of Duress or Inquisition of Kozilek and 3 Despise. I'm guessing you're keeping this standard from the looks of it, otherwise I'd suggest adding Hyppies, Dark Rituals, and Hymn To Tourachs.
Looks interesting. I'd add a playset of Thrummingbirds. In my experience with tinkering around with proliferate, they're the quickest way to start adding counters to everything, provided they go unblocked.
Liliana Vess :D She works well in MBC, Discard, or Reanimator. I built a discard deck around her and Liliana's Caress myself, which you can see here, http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=174433. I know everyone hates Megrim/Caress but I pretty much play casual exclusively, so it's a lot of fun for me.
I had both of those originally but dropped them in favor of the Anatomist and Cryptoplasm respectively. I really liked Tumble Magnet but it always seemed to just postpone the inevitable beatdown from stuff like infect. Anatomist has a chance to remove weenies and set up some nice proliferate combos on bigger stuff. What would you suggest removing in exchange for Magnet and Certrarch?
