Deck Description

This is my vampire deck. Took me long to make it till this far. It works great! It's fast, and make short work of many decks.
Just make sure the bloodwitch comes into play as soon as possible, once that happens Bant and Naja deck-players will start crying.

The win rate for this deck against naja and bant is really high. It's beats them fair and square. Even against jund it stands a chance if you play it right.

In multiplayer you will become the main target soon enough, keep that in mind. ;)

I still lack 3 more Catacombs, I'd like 4 in the end. But for now this works like a charm. ^^
*UPDATE* - I've just added the 3 catacombs. Now it's complete! Finally! :)

In the sideboard are some cards to switch in case you play against jund, bant or naja.
For example switch some disfigure with deathmark in case you are playing against those.

Elseways there are also sadistics to put in the deck, those are major fun to play to get out those baneslayers or other nasty cards that might interrupt all your vamps in action.

Hope you like it!

Deck discussion for Vampiric Control (standard)

Sideboard the deathmarks. Run 8 sac lands instead of 1, you'll appreciate them with bloodghast and the Noc's. free deck shuffling and thining. 15 swamps/8 zend sac lands or so. Maindeck hexmage, worst case, it's a 2/1 first strike for 2, best case, it kills planeswalkers. Maindeck more disfigures. All I got to advise to you.

I've now added some more sac lands. I don't want more than 4. I'll keep hexmage in sideboard, cause I often play to people who don't use plainswalkers. Anyhow, thanks for the advise! :)

If I were you, I wouldn't put Sorin Markov in the main deck. The best ability for vamps he actually has is his second, and you're not using that realy. Sorin's cmc is equal to that of Bloodwitch, and I'd favor the latter. And since you're going for the attacking-vamp-theme, Coat of Arms? Boosts them like crazy if you have any in play.

Another thought on Hexmage: it also kills the enchantments that use quest counters. For example, you can annoy any deck using Archmage, Luminarch, Pyromancer, etc... Ascension, and delay your opponent's Landfall quest enchantments such as Quest for the Gravelord. And you can kill creatures with only +1/+1 counters on them to keep them alive. These also include Allies... So that's kind of great too.
