Deck Description

This is the *current* Eldrazi deck I am running. So far, in its present state, I have seen astounding success with it in tournament play and social play. This deck has come a FAR way from where it started (a polymorph Eldrazi deck). Pretty much, the strategy is as follows:

1. Use mana producing spells to play more lands and generate mana quickly. This includes everything from Explore to Growth Spasm and even the Nest Invaders and Skittering Invasion for Eldrazi Spawns.

2. To protect yourself, utilize the Fog and All Is Dust spells. Also do not be timid in using Nest Invaders, Kozilek's Predators, or Eldrazi Spawn creatures as blocker fodder.

3. Using Eye of Ugin, or large cumulated amounts of mana, play one of the large Eldrazi Creatures (preferably one of the Legendary ones). If you don't have one of the creatures, simply use the Eye of Ugin ability to search your library for one.

It is important to note that you will need at least 5 turns to play one of the Eldrazi Creatures, generally. I've played Emrakul on turn 6 before, it's not impossible. Also be sure to use the Eye of Ugin ability smartly, because if you go straight for Emrakul out of your library but you haven't the mana to cast him on next turn, then you just wasted a turn. I tend to win games with Kozilek quite easily.

So far, the only deck I own that has been able to beat this one is my Ally deck, found here: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=77638

Feel free to comment, either good or bad. Like I said, this deck IS SUCCESSFUL but like all decks, it is ALWAYS a WORK IN PROGRESS.

HOORAY FOR ORIGINALITY!! ... oh... wait a second. Still though a solid deck. It's nice to see a deck built around hardcasting the Eldrazi for maximum results. However, Not of This World is really not a good card. Vines of Vastwood can protect your creatures while buffing them and is more useful on your smaller critters. The Titans don't really need the protection anyway. Emrakul can't be targeted by most spells that Not of This World can counter. I really think you should go Vines.

Good point. The reason I have Not of This World is because it's a free counterspell, and I've experienced a couple Mind Controls or Unsummons on Kozilek and Ulamog to make me rethink that part :-/

personally i think emrakul is overdoing it. just get an eldrazi with p/t 10/10. you dont really need anymore than that, and you can play it quicker.

yeah emrakul may be over doing it, but with emrakul along with kozilek and ulamog in the deck then you really don't have to worry about mull deck. yes yes yes i know all three do the same thing as far as the graveyard affect goes but if you have one in your hand then you have two more. good job with the deck i built it and loved it.
