Atraxa can be played so many different ways and use her abilities outstanding in all of them. I Wanted to have her as a infect counter General here's the deck
in a one on one match here's the best case set up. ( Plague Stinger + Ichor Rats + Blighted Agent : Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots Or Inkmoth Nexus ). Get that early Infect counter on them ASAP. Them having this counter is already the best foot in the door. Because next turn its another hit and another hit until they kill this awful little fuck. Now Once we give them that Infect Counter is 9 more to go. Now we can stall going the other route with the Counters on our creatures making them ramp up into huge threats to apply that pressure. we simply play the game. after a few turns and you got a stable field or held onto these early creatures. pull Atraxa down from the Heavens and then let her Stack those infect counters at the end of your turns. this puts them on the count down. a personal favorite card of mine is Defense of the heart. this makes them not want to have more then 3 creatures... God forbid they have 3 creatures because on that upkeep we get to pull out Daddy Skittles and Blightsteeltwo of the BEST infect creatures possible. and since Blight has that Trample. they gotta have an answer this turn. Another method we're using here is poliferate. Viral Drake , Fuel for the cause , inexorable tide are awesome for this. also Corrupted Conscience is another great method of infect lets take their beater and make it ours. another good play is i love having 4 creatures out. lets say we got 7 mana. Triumph of the hordes and swing it. hold Counterspell in your hand and see if it gets those counters applied through. or go for that commander damage get one of those artifacts on Atraxa and just let her do all the work.

I've been working on an infect edh forever. When Atraxa came out, I finally found a good commander. Also, why is Anafenza in the sideboard?

i haven't decided if i want her in the deck or not i keep running into a problem where i have creatures but they aren't safe. like one legit the BEST play i early i've had is Blighted Agent with swiftfoot boots so i can keep stacking those Infect counters easy and its safe. then wait or pull Atraxa out and let her stack the rest up if needed. i go for the infect win one on one but the longer game still works off the normal counter measures.
