Deck discussion for Black Deck

There are only 2 cards in the deck that gain you life. I'm not sure Sanguine Bond is needed and may be a dead card most of the time, or minimally used (Demon's Horn only gains you one life per spell).

Take it from me, discard decks are almost impossible to make really really good. Once your opponent runs out of cards in their you're stuck with useless spells in yours. I've found that the best thing to do is splash a little bit of blue in there for control, counter and bounce. I'd take the Demon's Horn out, life gain doesn't kill your opponent, it only keeps you alive.

Yeah there are definite problems with this deck, but it is only meant to be 'casual'. I think it would be very hard to create a really competitive mono-black deck, especially using only the M10 cards. But it is definitely lots of fun to create.

Sign In Blood actually helps a lot in a discard deck, forcing your opponent to pay two life and draw cards so that you can do more damage with Megrim.

As for your deck, I think you should go with either life gain or discard, not both. I run both types of deck myself and like both styles, but if you try and put them together it will just be clumsy and probably won't work well.

As for general suggestions, you should remove Assassinate to maindeck Royal Assassin, and make room for Underworld Dreams.
