My own take on Birthing Pod. No fancy infinite shenanigans, just having fun with tutoring, enter-the-battlefield and "dies" effects.Feedback appreciated :)
You can play Birthing Pod anywhere from 3-6 mana, paying 0-4 life to get it and its ability out. That makes it incredibly flexible, you can always play it fitting to the current situation. All creatures get value they moment you use Birthing Pod, either through dying or by entering the battlefield (sometimes both!). Since the pod sacrifices one creature and brings you another, that often means multiple effects happening in rapid succession. Some creatures can untap other permanents, for example the Pod so you can use it multiple times in a turn. Some creatures return cards from your graveyard so you can use them again on their own or with the Pod.Some creatures gain you life so you can catch up against aggro decks. Some creatures are clones so you can have more copies of important creatures.Chord of Calling adds another way to find creatures, while Wargate can even find another Birthing Pod in dire situations. Gifts Ungiven can net you any important card you need.
