Deck discussion for Spellheart Trauma

+1
I think Rune Snag could be an interesting option instead of Cancel. The more Rune Snag are in your graveyard the more expensive it get's for your opponent to counter a spell. If yo want to stick with a 'normal' counterspell then Disallow would be the weapon of your choice as it also allows to counter abilitys.
I would also take a look at some red draw/discard spells: Tormenting Voice, Cathartic Reunion or Faithless Looting.
To make way for your finishers Artful Dodge could be an option. Even if you've milled/ discarded it into your graveyard the flashback-ability will allow you to re-use it.
Baral, Chief of Compliance would also be a superior version of Goblin Electromancer.

Greetings
Muktol

Thank you! I'll consider all of those options. Disallow is a much better counterspell for sure. I definitely like Artful Dodge casted from graveyard to attack straight through as well, even though it would remove 1 power from a chimera/drake when swinging. Cathartic Reunion stands out from the draw/discards you listed, might add that in after some playtesting. Baral is definitely the way to go, will add him in on my next card order.

Since Traumatize is only a one-of, you're only going to be able to cast it on yourself for the win con once in a blue moon. I dig the deck though.

Also, you have no access to black mana to flashback Forbidden Alchemy, which, even though it's expensive, can still have a similar effect as Traumatize would.

Thanks for the feedback. I added Crumbling Necropolis so that I could have access to black mana for Forbidden Alchemy. Should I bring my copies of Traumatize up to 4 or is it sufficient to just look for them by casting Forbidden Alchemy and/or Fact or Fiction?

Since you're depending on a creature to swing in for lethal, I'd include ways to protect them. The only thing I can think of at the moment are Lightning Greaves, but I'm sure there are other on-color options. Other than that, I like it!

Mizzium Skin is a good way to solve this problem, especially since it has overload.
