Deck Description

A deck built around Notion Thief and Disciple of Deceit.

How to Play

Disciple of Deceit should mainly fetch you Anvil of Bogardan.

The Anvil along side Notion Thief locks your opponent out of drawing any new cards.

Once the lock is in place you can use the Disciple to tutor the combo pieces of Thopter Foundry and Sword of the meek.

With the lock in place you can either win via the tutored combo pieces and maybe a Tezzeret to speed things along or you can finish up slowly with a number of Jace ultimate activations.

Deck discussion for Disciple of Thievery

I was about to suggest mixing in Merfolk looter, but with Springleaf Drum the Diciple of Deceit will work just fine :) I kinda liked how you utilized Psychosis Crawler with Skulker in your previous version. Crawler may mess up your mana curve a bit, but I'd reconsider leaving Skulker out, he's just fun to play and he fits in your concept well.
In any case, thanks for the inspiration, I think I'll try this one out!

Indeed, the curve is a bit tricky due to those particular cards. I tried finding anything to convert all the drawing power on the other version into a win con but Crawler is the only one I can find. Since the other version is a lot heavier with the draws the Crawlers and the Lurkers just fit right in.

Inspiration-wise, you're welcome. I'm glad you like it. Something comes to mind I try to make it happen :)
