I saw a similar deck in a Vintage post from MTGgoldfish and I fell in love with the value plan that you could potentially get from Young Pyromancer+Risen Reef or with the Incarnations so I wanted to try and see if I could potentially construct a modern variant of the deck. And if we could make it more viable without cutting or adding creatures, that would be amazing.I don't want to play any Bauble, Ragavan, Unholy Heat and/or DRC - If I wanted that I could simply just play U/R Murktide.Original Vintage decklist: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/4572012#paperPS: I decided to have two different arts on the Blood Moon just to tilt people over...I also decided to have at least ONE white-border land for the same reason.
My only thought with this deck is to have fun foremost and something that I prefer doing in MTG = Draw a LOT of cards and play Young Pyromancer.I think the best way to describe the gameplan is to sort of control the battlefield until you can cast your creatures while having a minor way to protect them.Once you get both Risen Reef and Young Pyromancer together on the board, your biggest worry could be that you could theoretically deck yourself out before your opponent beats you to death... as Ritchard Garfield intended.
