Deck Description

I looked around my card piles for something interesting for my Standard deck and found a playset of Martial Coup. That gave me the idea that Martial Coup always could wipe the board in Tron.

Thus this deck was born. I don't play Eldrazi because I believe that Artifact is the real colorless and that Tron should only play Artifact creatures, and not Eldrazi.

I also found out that Approach of the Second sun could be played as well becuase it only cost 7 mana and can win on turn 4 if you have the perfect hand... so I put 4 in the deck because the more the merrier. :D

I don't build sideboards because the meta is always different for each town and country... use what you think is best against the deck you're facing instead of something you find on the web, because not everyone are playing the typical meta-decks. That way you can win more often.

How to Play

This deck is played like any other Tron.

You must try to get together the Tron pieces as quick as possible so that you can play the more expensive spells and finish with the beatdown plan with Martial Coup(on 5+), Wurmcoil Engine... or both.

You also have access to Karn and Ugin in Tron decks, which are alternate win-cons on their own.

Approach of the Second Sun is a new idea of a wincon for Tron because once you cast your second, you win the game... in the name of Bolas!(you will still win even if the first one is countered and the second one resolves according to the rulings.)

You have Path to Exile as a spot removal in case you are in a tight position, and martial coup can work even if you don't have time to assemble Tron.

Oblivion Stone is a good boardwipe in case you don't have mana to cast a martial coup or if the opponent have an annoying planeswalker.

Martial Coup is also a good boardwipe as well as a strong token enabler.
