ok i unders stand the idea lol sorry about that and i see how Brittle Effigy is good but can only be used once where Mystifying Maze can be used as manytime you want on something attacking you lol your call tho

i would also add Mystifying Maze for some more control
yes i would take out Quest for Pure Flame and put in Quest for the Gemblades my thoughts are that you might not be getting to much damage in right away but will be able to block and +4 +4 counters on something up to you tho love the deck
