Deck Description

I'm a long time player of MTG, having started right after Portal was released. Over the years I've had, and lost due to various reasons, many cards. I'm more fond of older MTG than the present state of things so I don't play at the local shops. As it is now, my collection of paper MTG cards is varied but I don't have many multiples, usually not enough to make decent decks. I am more or less done spending money on paper MTG.

As such, a buddy and I decided to try something 'new'. 30-Card Singleton is now our play style. We've made many decks, from Elf to Mill to Grave Return. The limited deck size and Singleton rules inspire many crazy deck ideas, and forces the player to think out every little action.

How to Play

Kill and be killed, only to kill again. Sometimes, it's better to be dead.

30 card singleton makes this grave deck hard to handle. Nether Traitor, Butcher Ghoul, and Reassembling Skeleton make perfect sacrifices for unleashing Black's death upon your opponent.

P.S. - Albeit a bit expensive, there are many cards throughout MTG that can be swapped in to lower (or raise?) cost.

So what are the rules of singleton ?
You use 30 cards, and one of each ?

Then you might be able to blend in on our halfdeck pages.
In halfdeck the goal is to build decks made out of 30 cards and then you take another 30 card deck at random and shuffle it together.

Over time the twist becomes that you must build your halfdeck to be combinable with practically anything.

We are using the tag halfdeck so feel free to add that tag to your singleton decks

That way we can have a hybrid of the two 30 card concepts.

It would also help others to distinguish your singleton from the commander decks that are marked singleton.
Anyone knows a halfdeck is 30 cards, so by being tagged singleton and halfdeck you can search for the tag singleton and then look after the tag halfdeck.

Do you get the general idea ;) ?
