Throw in some Painter's Servants, the Painter's/Grindstone combo is just plain filthy

Well, I would say that the most important thing to do in a deck is to pick a theme for it in the first place, it makes it very hard to recommend anything when there is no particular theme in mind - I would try and determine your win condition and build accordingly, for sure.

Secondly, this deck as it stands has major consistency issues. Be very cautious when going over 60 cards - 100, in my opinion, is way too many. Try to cut it closer to 60 - another thing as well, is that having 1 copy of every card except lands causes issues as well, its like a different deck every time you play. I would put 4 copies of the cards that you find important in and remove the ones you don't need (again, this comes back to picking a theme for your deck sorta :P )

One last thing - the mana ratio is a little bit high, it looks like half of your deck is lands - slightly over a third is more standard. In the vein of lands, maybe some multicolor lands could help you out considerably, particularly in a 5 color deck like this.

Hope something I said was remotely helpful, and good luck !

I take back everything I said if you are in fact going for a mill/discard, as you might be from your description, and wish you the best of luck :P More multicolor mana could be helpful in that case perhaps, if available.

So this deck as is is kinda half discard half mill.. In my opinion, making a deck EXCLUSIVELY discard OR mill is much better than mixing the two together in a combo deck like this. So I would remove some of the discard cards like Hypnotic, Megrim, etc and add some standard milling cards like Archive Traps and maybe some Haunting Echoes.

Additionally, I would remove red entirely..! Makes the mana base pretty thin and again, is only in here for discard..which for a mill deck, we dont need :P

I guess my comment would be, I think this deck would be fairly inconsistent because of all the 1 and 2 counts on cards in here. Remove some of the variety for more 4 counts on important monsters, and that will improve the decks overall performance (so I think)

oh just kidding on the cryptic command, no longer standard -_- my bad.
In that case a Flash Freeze or something maybe against jund wouldn't be bad

So..I would main deck the Spreading Seas for an anti jund deck definitely. I would add in a little more control for if you get screwed and cant get ahold of your Mirages or Spreading..Cryptic Command could do very well in a deck like this, if you put in the islands it needs (counter a spell and return a permanent, or tap creatures and remove permanent, or...great for anti jund).

My biggest concern with this deck as is: the killing power is pretty limited, particularly if the deck you are playing gets any nasty creatures out (as Jund can tend to, if luck isn't on your side for the draw). Is the win condition to Aether Figment them to death and then Clone your aether figments for some more..?

Additionally, I'm not so sure about how amazing double negative is - maybe I'm missing something about it, but I really don't see people playing lots of spells at a time too often.

my two cents

so a 1/16 (a little less than 1/8 if you include Diabolic Tutor) chance you get an Elvish Piper in your starting hand, and if you don't, you are absolutely screwed?? And additionally, PRAY that they don't have an all too common card like a Path to Exile or any kind of counterspell or lightning bolt or anything for your piper??!??!?!?!?!? and even IF everything goes amazingly well, hope they don't THEN have any Wrath of God type cards to clear all your amazing monsters out, PLUS the piper??!?!??!

:(

I agree, this is practically legal as is - may as well remove the Glimpses and put in some Hedron Crabs and you're there.
I would maybe remove a couple islands for a couple more swamps as well

-1 Fireball and +1 Banefire..this is a banefire deck after all !!! also for the reason that the banefire is uncounterable and you should easily be able to get that 5 mana with this. However, this deck might have some issues killing people due to few sorceries that do damage (only 7 cards out of your deck) and mostly very weak creatures with no way to beef them up. I like the idea but it maybe could use a little tweaking.. adding Overrun could be useful perhaps? not too sure.

yeah, that would be my more specific suggestion i guess (drop some artifacts and spells) but if it works out better with a higher card count, then i guess keep it :P

try to cut down to 60 cards to improve consistancy of the deck

in my opinion there are too many high mana cost cards compared to the low mana cost cards (creatures in particular), this could potentially lead to some issues if you cant get ahold of your low cost ones. This combined with a low mana count for the deck (18) and only two dark rituals could be bad. Also, I imagine that this deck is pretty inconsistent because you have a whole bunch of cards that only show up twice - maybe cut out the sheer variety of cards in order to have key ones show up more frequently (four times)?
