you have 8 drops and only 22 lands and 4 mana dorks. Mana dorks are usually to get to big mana things faster rather than using them in place of lands. This should be a 24-25 land deck. If you want to stall the game then why are you playing aggressive creatures? If this is casual then you might drop the 8 drops, but if you take this to FNM it's not going to work.I want to give constructive criticism but this whole deck needs work from a basic structural stand point. You have one 3 drop, nine 2 drops and twelve 4 drops, where'd all the 3 drops go? You need to have a game plan with your mana, you need to think, turn one mana dork, turn two 3 drop and so on and so on. You want to make your mana curve nice and evenly but it's all over the place at the moment.http://www.essentialmagic.com/Miscellaneous/ManaCurve.asp

I changed it up a little is it any better?
keep your mana curve nice and curvy, you need more 3 drops, there's a massive gap there. At the moment it's all up and down. and go up to 25 land.Heres a questions though, are you aggro or mid-range cause i can't even see what you're deciding to do? I'm guessing you're aggro due to the title, but it really looks like your doing mid range. I'll quickly whip up a gruel mid-range and a gruel aggro to show you the difference between aggro and mid range so you can see how it works. Just give me a day or two and i'll get back to you.
http://www.mtgvault.com/gremere102/decks/gruul-midrange/I've done the mid-range. Have a read of the description so you can see what i mean.Once i do the aggro as well it'll be easy for you to compare the difference but for now there are some pretty useful tips that i learned over the years from some really good deck builders.
http://www.mtgvault.com/gremere102/decks/gruul-aggro/And there's the Gruul Aggro. You, don't have to agree with my choice of cards, but pay close attention to the mana costs.
i see what you mean in which case ill work on it and try to improve it
