What do you think about Serum Powder? or those lands from Champions that help Legends (Okina or Minamo).

I need to rethink the equipment since they would destroy anyone they attach to, including Horobi. Staff of Nin and Thousand-yr Elixer (used on opponent creatures) should do the same thing tho.

I am going to try out captivating vampire this weekend. it seems like the deck can get to infinite vampires (combo) before it can get to 5 vampires, but it's only gone against 5 or 6 decks so far, and replacing those 4 transmutes might tip that.

Looks fun!

It seems like Izzet Charm or Swan Song would fit well in place of Negate, but it's close anyway.

Charisma looks awesome in this deck, but with the 3 blue, may want more fixing (coldsteel heart, lotus bloom, etc) or just go all in on Sigil of Sleep instead. Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura are worth a look too for machine-gunning.

Lastly, a risky but way-fun looking card for this deck would be Starke of Rath. He provides baddie/artifact removal, and you could shoot him w Deathtouch or even kick him back to your hand with Sigil of Sleep for another day.

Really cool deck.

Clutch of the Undercity would let you tutor for either the Puzzle Box or the Notion Thief.

Brainspoil might be a better choice than diabolic to get the thrumming stone faster, and it's a removal as well. Also, I didn't see the lotus petals in the decklist. Wouldn't they be better than the simian spirit guides?

You look like you are already set on your demons, but reaper of the abyss also has good juju with shadowborn apostle sacrifices.

thanks for the notes. I had herder in the original list, then he got trimmed out. i was also looking at loxdon hammer and horned helm, but settled on the whispersilk cloak. with no way to tutor artifacts, tho, the herder may be a good include. i kept the list of 20 or so elves that looked useful to the deck.

i do need to look at ways to use the mana if he goes down on another player's turn. packmaster looks good.

yeah, single use damage used in this way for commander is not good. I need to rework the instants some more.

Those are great suggestions. Word of seizing would rock if it cost 4 (then cast it from library using Sunforger). I think i dropped it and Act just to trim things down. I might find out I need those other options in here as well and fewer of my own creatures. I have a feeling that more than 8 "gain control" spells (counting blind with anger) would be better with 6 players, but more of my own creatures would be better with 3 players.

I had some ruling questions as well:
1 - does Sword of Paruns on Brion give +2 to a creature that he sacks since he taps?
2 - does gaining control of an opponents creature cause Purphoros damage to go off?

thanks again
