I like the concept, but dig, cut and empty the pits in one deck is a horrible idea, you will never have enough cardsy in your yard to delve that much.

Oh and here is a Sideboard (also called Morphboard)-idea: I Play 4 Grave Titans in my Sideboard. In bad Matchups like infect or affinity, I just throw out Combo pieces and accelerate into a turn 3 or 4 Grave Titan, which will catch most opponents of-guard, as they sided out most of their removal and a grave Titan is both a massive brick wall and a very fast clock.
SSG is already a Combo accelerator as when you have on in your Hand, that makes for an additional mana for ad nauseam, potentially going off a turn early:Turn 1 -> LandTurn 2 -> Second land, Pentad Prism on 2Turn 3 -> Third land, Exile a Spirit guide. six mana, go off.Don't go out of your way for some obscure infect-Sideboard plan. Just race them.
No sidecoard in my opinion. You just gotta raise infect-decks. I mean, bringing in a few path to exile might be a thing, but you're only delaying your combo then.
Just from my experience: Infect is the one unwinable match-up. I mean, if you get the Turn 4 kill and they draw terribly and you are on the play I can see a scenario where you can win, but all in all I'll go out on a limb here and say: this deck won't beat infect. Against pretty much every other match-up however, I consider this deck top-notch.
I do not feel that this deck is as fragile as you describe it. It is complicated to pilot however. I have been playing this through a whole bunch of modern dailys and Premiers online and it did a great Job, I top 3ed with it most of the time. The good Thing about this deck is that it is faster than most aggressive decks and still can easily win against control decks because it can just win at instant Speed in Response to them tapping low, thus making the control-match up which thends to be the soft spot of Combo decks much better.Bad match-ups however are the Tron-ones because we can neither stop them from mindslavering us nor survive an Emrakul attack. There are two match-ups I actually consider unwinnable: Infect and Bogle. Those are, however, very rare in today's modern Environment and not a big Problem. Also, I HIGHLY recommend 4 Leylines in the board against decks that run any form of discard. A single Inquisition of Kozilek and our whole gameplan may crumble.
Nice, straight and cheap! I think Underworld Cerberus might be the most underrated card ever, this guy is pretty removal-resistant and really puts the pressure on!
this deck seems to ramp like hell, and i don't see much you can do with all that mana...how about adding some of those expensive green fatties?
erm...you've got a whole lot of spells to shuffle which make your opponent shuffle his library...so maybe psychic surgery may pay off?
what do u need shape anew for? Switch not needed Shields for dolls and the other way?
I wonder how you want to play this deck. In my opnion, these phantasmal creatures can be incredibly powerful, and i am currently working on a phantasmal deck myself. Is this deck meant to be slow and controlling, until you can throw out several creatures and equip them in one turn, or do you want to drop creatures fast? Because (at least in my meta, where EVERYBODY seems to play either black control or burn for some reason) the second way would never work out.
hey bro...maybe i didn't get the joke or something... but where is the sundial?
You really need to play Lightning Bolts. Seriously. Four of them. I recommend you to exchange three LAva Axe and one Shock for them. Nice decks besides that, freaking fast. I doubt they knew what they were coming up with when they designed Shrine Of Burning Rage. Too freaking powerful.
thank you for the comment dude!
All in all, I like your deck. Just one little hint: Maybe you wanna add (or at least sideboard) some geth's verdict and/or dismember, so you can get rid of these annoying hexproof and indestructible guys. Would you do me a favor and check my UB control I just built? Maybe you have some ideas how to improve it. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=207284
yeah, i just did this pretty much exactly by the time you wrote your comment.
yeeah, i just got it! didn't see oracle/hedron combo before i wrote this!
i don't get the idea behind scalding tarn? as you can only fetch an island with it, wouldn't it be smart to run 4 more islands instead?
thanks for you comment. i absolutely agree with you, but to be honest: when i have to make the decesion wether to pay 50 bugs for lands or use one more swamp and island, i will choose swamp and island. when i draw another drowned catacomb or a creeping tar pit, i will absolutely add it to the deck. But i just don't have more right now.
i might be a bit late :D but ok...this looks like a solid deck, pretty constant and with some cool stuff in it. but with some minor changed, you could make it standard, how do you think about this?
