Deck Description

I saw user MrGuy make a budget U/G infect that I really liked, and pretty much took it. This is mostly his, with a few minor tweaks from my end according to my own availability and such. When all is said and done this deck should come to under $10 bucks, which is awesome. May eventually put more $ into it, but for now I'm going cheap.
Thinking I may wan to utilize blue's countering, but just don't know where to fit it. Other than that, I'm pretty open to suggestions, I've been out of MTG for awhile so there's a ton of cards I just don't know.
Thanks in advance! And thanks MrGuy for your deck!

Deck discussion for U/G infect on a budget

Definitely would like to add Vines of Vastwood when I get some. Other possibilities:
Counterspell
Mana Leak
Daze
Cancel
Giant Growth
Tezzeret's Gambit

Am I too blue heavy? Think I couldnsqueeze by with 20 lands since 90% is 2 or less? Thanks!

yeah 20 lands would be fine. You have nothing in the deck over 3 mana so 20 will do you well. You do have more blue mana occurence in the deck as it is right now so you may need to switch your lands up a little. As is you have 16 creatures and a lot of spells and not necessarily control spells from blue. I think you need to put in some mana leaks and/or counterspells. Another land you may want to consider is Inkmoth Nexus, its expensive at the moment but can increase your chances of winning a lot. An enchantment you may want to consider is inexorable tide. May also switch the Contagion Clasp for Throne of Geth. After attacking with your creatures you can sacrifice them or use it to sacrifice itself. 2 mana proliferate is no joke.

Hey, thanks for the suggestions. I'm just having trouble squeezing everything in. I put 4 corrupted resolve in for some countering. I think they will be better in here than a mana leak. I like the inexorable tides, but again, don't know where to fit it. Throne of geth is in, sold on the 2 mana proliferate. I've noticed I may be a bit low on creatures, as once my first couple were down, I found myself waiting and waiting to draw the next one, even with all the draw. Perhaps the Resolves will help to solve that.
I love the Inkmoth Nexus, but unfortunately they are not within reason for me to get at the moment. If/when I get my hands on some, they will certainly go in this deck.
I'm almost thinking I want to try this mono blue. I love the green pump, but I think more control would be more reliable. I could keep mutagenic growth and distortion strike, but that would be it.
What do you think?

Thanks for the post, I have to use the cards i get out of boosters, so personally to me mine is more feasible. One thing I don't like is necropede, you can get better for 2 mana. Also titanic growth is also nice when used on that blighted agent. Check out my new infect deck i made:
