My take on the Ravenous Intruder combo that's been going around. There is plenty of synergy in the deck with multiple combos. I think it's a really fun deck for casual play and at such a low budget it should be easy to assemble.I also think W or B could be splashed to spice it up even more. Scrapheap Scrounger or Solemn Recruit would be nice additions.Let me know what you think in the comments.
The main idea is to get Ravenous Intruder and a Pia's Revolution on the battlefield. You sack cheap artifacts to Intruder to pump him and your opponent has to decide their fate. Scrap Trawler works really well with this bringing other artifacts back to your hand and the Inspector makes them cheaper. We also have Key and Rampage to get our Intruder through. The sideboard has a couple of other tricks, more pump, and more burn. You could keep the main combo in the deck and switch in more burn to bluff your opponent into thinking you are still in the attack plan.

Bomat Courier is better than it looks in this deck and I would up the Pia's Revolution to 4, to maximize the pressure on the opponent's thinking. Agreed this is a very fun deck and can even do fairly well at FNM's with a good sideboard.
Thanks. Multiple Revolutions on the board won't trigger though. The Courier sounds good for card draw though.
Multiple Pia's Revolutions on the battlefield at once should trigger separately..?
Cookemup78 you're incorrect. Multiple copies will require your opponent to take 6 damage.
The artifact would be in your hand if the opponent chooses to not take the damage. Second trigger would fizzle since the artifact that triggered it is no longer in the graveyard. If the opponent chooses to take the damage off the first trigger then the second trigger would activate. If this would be the case the opponent would most likely choose to send the card to your hand off the first making the second Revolution pointless.
And you don't see this as a positive? Do you not want all your artifacts back in your hand to reuse them. If this is not how you prefer things then your opponent could chose this regardless.
I see it as 3 mana wasted in a turn where the format is aggressive and not getting full value on a card is not efficient.
Then you you shouldn't be playing Pia's Revolution at all. The point of the card is to get your artifacts back to hand to reuse them to your advantage.
And I agree with that, but in my build I have 3.
if you have 1 pia's revolution i would take the 3 damage every time because without your artifacts you have nothing that scares me, your gremlin's would be useless and you can only draw one card a turn so your not gonna have a handful of them all the time. plus if i have flying your gonna get crunched in a few turns. BUT if you have 2 pia's revolution if I send it to the graveyard i'd have to take 6 damage(yes 6, i saw the comments above and each pia triggers and nothing fizzles and then once i'd choose to graveyard it then it would resolve into 6) and if i had to take 6 damage i'd give it back every time and hope i can block until i can get something to take out your gremlins until then. you have a serious lack on flying defense though, have you considered freejam regeant? or even hope of ghirapur? that's a fun card.
