Deck discussion for Bazaar Vatmother

Bazaar trader is a good idea but you would need the ideal condition to make this happen. first off you would need to get bazaar trader out. then next turn cast vatmother (2,S,S), send it over with Bazaar trader, then use Pacifism (1, W). Looking at your mana, that would be at earliest on turn 6. At that point you are already in mid-late game. Depending on who is more aggressive at that point, you might want to keep the vatmother for defense. That is if they are not also playing infect. If they are, then this match would be a battle of first to 10 and trying to focus on the combo will most definately distract you. Also if a Vatmother goes to the graveyard and you have the ooze out, you start getting poison counters.

My suggestion would be trade out the vector asps for other artifacts with infect. Maybe even a plague myr for a bit of mana ramping. Then take Skithiryx, at least 1 vatmother and 1 bazaar trader out and put in 3 Hand of the Praetors. Next i would exchange the mark of mutiny with Act of Treason. Same cost and doesnt give the creature a +1/+1 when you give it back.

Now you can use the Bazaar trader to take creatures from your opponent using mark of mutiny or act of treason. If that is your alternate goal then you might want to have 4 marks and 4 acts of treason.

Now looking at the primary color of this deck, i see majority black but you only have 4 swamps and 4 cliffs.

And my combo could be used turn 5. And i use the mark of mutiny because i have give him the vatmother. He has no creatures. I take the vatmother with the mutiny and attack him! And i use the vector asp so the ooze could get infect. But please tell me about good activated abilitys i can use to the ooze

... and 3 marsh flats. i have enough swamps. and the vector asp is to the ooze. it can get infect, and if i have the vatmother in graveyard, i give my opponent the ooze!! so its the same like vatmother! and i win sometimes faster than turn 4, but the bazaar and the pacifism, vatmother combo, is for the later game, when he have much poison. attack him with the vatmother, then give him then!

like you said you give the ooze poison with the vector asp but you can also give it poison with just about anything that has infect. So you have the ooze out and lets say that they have a few creatures in thier grave yard and you have an infect creature (vector asp), the vatmother, a bazaar trader, and a crusader. if you give your opponent a creature that has all activated abilities of all creatures in all graveyards, i poison counter on my upkeep is a fair price for a creature that has infect, protection from red and white (which if your playing infect may not have any power over you) but a 4/3 infect creature that you just gave me with all activated abilities of all creature cards in all graveyards...

i would like to point out that necrotic ooze gains all "activated abilities" of creatures in the graveyard. infect is not an activated ability, it is a static ability so no, not just any infect creature will give the ooze infect, nor will having vatmoth in the graveyard make the ooze start giving you poison counters

Try more things that give straight poison counters i.e. Ichor Rats. Virulent Wound also combos well with Vendetta. for BB you kill a creature and give them a poison counter.. yes, please.

Yes the rats - When Ichor Rats enters the battlefield, each player gets a poison counter.

here is the text on Jinxed Idol:

At the beginning of your upkeep, Jinxed Idol deals 2 damage to you. Sacrifice a creature: Target opponent gains control of Jinxed Idol.

after you have Bazaar trader out for a turn, Cast Jinxed Idol. Use bazaar trader to give it to them on thier upkeep. They will take the 2 damage no matter what but they will also have to sack a creature to give it back. if you are using verulent would and go for the throat with infect, they should not have anything to sack and if tehy do it should have a -1/-1 counter from verulant wound so they would get a poison counter anyway. 2 Bazaar traders says you will never have the jinxed idol on your side during your upkeep.

It would take ten turns to die from a Pacified Vatmother. If your opponent can't reliably destroy an unprotected creature within a few turns or so, there's lots of easier ways to kill them. I'd think beating them down with the Vatmother would almost always work better.

If you really want to run Bazaar Trader, consider also using Abyssal Persecutor.

This deck is way to slow to be competitive, bud. I see what you are trying to do, but ... it can all be done cheaper and faster with other combos. An artifact heavy deck with Throne of Geth and Ichor Rats(Hand of the Praetors dishes out poison counters, infects their creatures and proliferates it all. This deck will hardly ever become viable. Sorry. :(

Give Bronze Bombshell infect (equipment, tainted strike ect) Then give it to em. Whammo 7 poison counters. Then when it dies, slap it on a Mimic Vat then do it again next turn. Hmnn I think I need to make a new deck.

Mimic Vat
Bronze Bombshell
Baazar Trader
Kiki-Jiki Mirror breaker.
and infect equipment :D

that's a great combo!! even if you equiped the creature with Grafted Exoskeleton once the created died you would get the artifact equipment back. LOL :) really great combo and use of Bazaar Trader.

Also Bazaar Trader's activated ability can only be used on artifacts, creatures, or lands you control. Once you give your opponent the card they control it. You still own the card but they control it so you can’t target it any longer with Bazaar trader. I’m only adding this little blurb because (ControlMTG) said that his plan was to give “Phyrexian Vatmother” to his opponent then tack it back under his control with “Bazaar trader”. It’s a nice idea but doesn’t work out that way.

There are better uses for Bazaar Trader, I see that you added 2 Mark of Mutiny which is nice, but the guy has so much potential.

I proxied this deck and let me tell you that my friends even in a group game were taken back by how fast and efficient this deck played out. The best part about this deck is that the cost of this deck is maybe $5. I am going to foil the entire thing for around $12 - $15. granted i only got Bazaar trader out once but i kept taking one players creatures and hitting another, then before the end of my turn sacrificing the creature to culling dias. also turning perminants into artifacts and shattering them did not make me any allies in a group free for all game. kudos to the deck

one card that would be fun to have (though not legal) would be the holiday card "Evil presents" :P

give a vatmother to your oppenent and have it attack him, including the extra poisencounter he gets from the upkeep...
