yeah looks pretty epic dude and he is prolly running 4 to increase his chance of drawing him like he said honor of the pure is pretty important to his game plan so id assume hed value sorins emblem just as much and even without elspeths final ability she can still put 3 tokens on the board just the other day i was playing a guy he was running mono white humans and i was running this http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=302549 and i had him in a pretty bad spot i had burned out most of his early threats and had stuck a delver and he played elsepth put three tokens on the board i used my las burn spell in hand to finish of the walker and a combination of not being able to flip delver and not drawing burn i eventually lost to those 3 tokens buffeed with 2 honor the pure ...she can seriously save someone by producing 3 creatures and like he said the life gain is invaluable as well
im with befos7 also i have a list i wanna run but i dont have all the cards for it yet but you could try runnin past in flames then make use of things like shock gut punch gheistflame and galvanic blast gives you a win condition and have mana leaks as back up with gitaxian probe so you dont go off into an opponents counters
i really like this idea have you play tested with it yet just curious of how consistant it is
totally think you should have kept figure of destiny... especially if the game goes longer then you want your going to have excess mana with the way your curve is at least you wont be dead in the water i dont playe alot of modern dont really have the funds for it but id say this looks pretty solid
really fast and aggressive deck def a solid build
dude we agree on so much and i like the mental missteps and slagstorms desperatly trying to get some.. also the lavamancers i was running those as well but i just never wanted to play them i always had something id rather pay so in the end i took them out might bring them back though my removal wasnt as consistant after they left but i found mind control is a decnt option especially against titan based decks
