Deck Description

I just made this for fun to play pauper with my friend. It's based on modern Ponza, but uses beasts to get card draw instead of planeswalkers. Any opinions you've got, I'm all ears.

Deck discussion for Pauper Ponza

Pauper is commons only and cerodon is labeled as an uncommon. Was it a reprint as a common or on MTGO?

Desert Cerodon is a common. The set symbol is black, which is common. Where are you getting Uncommon from?

Desert Cerodon is a common in Amonkhet.

So is skred?

Skred is a common. Coldsnap has commons with a white set symbol. Was flavourful, with all the ice and snow theme, but looked a little too much like the silver set symbol.

Yup, according to the gatherer both of those are common. I use that site for everything.

That they are Swarmer. Phyresis is mistaken / confused.

Well, shit happens, though it is usually caused by something like the new Rolling Thunder being uncommon and people not being familiar, here they are visibly common.

I guess the symbol being half black confused me. Just wanted clarification. Thanks. : )

Thresher beast is something worth looking at. It's a 4/4 beast. If it gets chump-blocked, your opponent sacks a land.
